crumcake1223 replied to Sodus Pro Am's topic in Tournament Talk, Shows, Events & Seminars
hey j14sprocket I just paied for mine at krenzer's there at the point. we look forward to seeing everyone there. great luck to u all. I was wondering where a good place to dock would be? if someone could let me know I thank u very much -
wile I was in Iraq computers would transfer info with external hard drives. 6 months later a " virus" was found in the secure main frame that would copy everything on the geek sticks and send all the info on them to "somewhere". I mean all. any body with soldiers underneath them had many of these externals with every thing from what ur squad did for the day to little private Skippy's whole family info in it. this comes to no surprise to me any more. it seems every day I lose more and more hope for the security of this nation and its ways . thanks for the heads up

im trying to register for the pro am but it wnt let me use my credit card. I think its because the card name does not match the captian's name or address. I need to talk to some one befor I have to pay a late fine. if someone could point me to a # that works it would help so much. the tourisum center keeps asking me to put in a pin then tells me anything I put in is wrong and hangs up. ty in advance team dipsy ranger

things that will hit deeper depth faster is what we send out cloest to the boat so that way when you let out the next line should slid out over the top and stay away from what is already set.

we have a 18' pennyann that runs 8 lines when in full swing for salmon. 1 coppre 2dipsy and a rigger off each side. we run the mag diver on the inside and a #1(i think but yes the normal size) on the out side. the inside is always less feet then the outside by normaly 100'. the mag is on setting 1 and the other dipsy is set on 3. it took some reel practis when we added the second dipsy's but with wire being $35 a 1000', well we learned fast. when first setting up we put rigger, inside dipsy, out side dipsy, and we stick in copper wile putting out one of the dipsy's from the other side.( i think that makes sence) i will tell you i no longer use sliders on the rigger's when 4 dipsy divers due to the fact when redepolying the inside one im knowen for getting it hooked into the wire on the dipsy. it took some time but now we can get everything out in 5' waves in under 20 min. good luck and tight lines

heres a little reading that i found helpful when starting out... http://www.landbigfish.com/articles/default.cfm?ID=1026 watch your leader length between your fly and flasher. early in the year i start around 20" but by the end of the year last yers i had streached some out to almost 40" . 5 ft between diver and flasher. tight lines to ya and calm waters
