  1. I replied to the last two PM's. I do not have any of the previous mentioned reels left. I did however just pick up a bunch of new Clarions so will be replacing some of my other reels. Not sure exactly what yet but will be selling 6 Daiwa Sealine SH175H's and probably some Sealine 47lc's (The Black and Gold ones) May also let go of some Sealine 57's and a convector 45. let me know if anyone is interested in anything specific and I will let you know what I have. Thanks.
  2. I Swear by 3M Cleaner and wax or Restorer and wax. Cleaner works great for most Oxidation and the Restorer works for more severe Oxidation. An electric buffer is a must. Make sure you wash any dirt off the boat first. I had a dark purple stripe on my Baja sport boat that was really faded on the bow. I had to go over it several times with the cleaner & wax but it was shinning like brand new with great depth. I also have a Penn Yan with the Maroon and I hit some of the faded areas real quick this fall to see if they would come back and had promising results. I have tried many similar products on my boats over the years and none have worked as well and some have actually done more harm than good.
  3. Nick, Thanks! That is different than I had envisioned and looks like it would be ROCK SOLID.
  4. Thanks for all the input. I read on here that someone did some research and the Panther unit uses the same inputs that a Raymarine T1000 uses for autopilot and it can be rigged so they work together. That is my goal. PKomrowski - Do you mean you use an ez-steer bracket with your autopilot and the main engine shutoff? That would be ideal but I did'y think the hydraulics would work with the engine off.
  5. Ya I hear you. With all the variables It becomes tough to decide which to prioritize. I am hoping to setup a Panther steering unit and connect it to an autopilot but that is another whole project.
  6. Thanks, I would like to see a picture if you find one. That would certainly make it easier to get the motor if need be with it extended back beyond the outdrive.
  7. No swim platform.
  8. These are available again. Had sold but issues with Customs shipping to Canada prevented completion.
  9. Rolmops. You suggest exactly what I would prefer to do which is mount it directly behind the I/O. I have played around with the idea of building a bracket out of stainless tubing that would set the kicker 3' back from the transom which is what it would need to be to clear the outdrive in the up position. I am a little concerned about the strain on the transom with the weight cantilevered out that far. The advantages are significant. It helps keep the back open to net fish. It keeps it clear of my transducers. (fishawk,Garmin FF, Cannon Digi-troll, and back up Humminbird). It also keeps it away from my corner downrigger. I am also not sure I can find the extra time to get it setup that way vs. just buying a standard bracket and mounting it. Any thoughts on the strain on the transom?
  10. I am getting ready to install a kicker on my Penn Yan 245 contender and am hoping someone can point me at a website that will help me determine the best location. I am looking for dimensions from waterline. clearance from I/O, required travel of the mounting bracket etc. Thanks in advance for any help.

  13. I bought new Cannon Mag10's and am selling the two Mag 20's I replaced on e-bay. If anyone is interested here is the link. Of course I would do local pickup in Rochester or Brockport. Thanks http://www.ebay.com/itm/191088116922?ssPageName=STRK:MESELX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1555.l2649
  14. I have two convector 30d's. I didn't plan on selling them but guess I would if you wanted the pair. One is Brand new in the box. The other is used but in great condition. I would want $120. for the pair to let them go. If you are interested I will get them out and send you pictures. Thanks, Mike
  15. Hey Dan, send me PM's. I only see messages here if I happen to see this thread moved to the top. thanks
  16. I was thinking $30. ea. for the singles. The best price I found new was basically $40.plus tax and or shipping. They are selling on e-bay used for mid 30's plus shipping.
  17. I am sorry but at this point I really don't want to split the pair. I do have three single tit-lok rod holders that I am going to list soon if you are interested in them. Thanks
  18. Thanks. of course I knew that but think I have been making that same stupid mistake on several of my posts.
