Super Simple, and Tasty Prepare the Fettuccini to your liking. I highly suggest salting the water when you boil it. Make up your favorite alfredo sauce( see alfredo sauce on cooks.com) lots of options there, or you can use store bought if you like. I was in a pinch the other day and used Wegmans Italian Classics Alfredo sauce and it was pretty good. Smoke your salmon however you like as long as you smoke it long enough so you can flake it into small bite size pieces easily. Combine your sauce and the salmon flakes with fresh parsley and let it gently simmer as low as possible. I think this step is very important because it allows the salmon flavor to permeate the sauce. Pour sauce over your fettuccini sprinkle on more fresh parsley and enjoy!

Seward and Ninilchick are both very good places to check out. Seward has more other stuff going on but they are both good fishing areas. Seeing a 42 ft tide is pretty incredible! They launched our boat with a log skidder since there are no docks where we went out of in Ninilchick.

I have run the magda's in size 30 and 45 with the Shimano TDR's with no issues. They are a great entry level set up. I recently picked up 4 TDR's to try on leadcore as well. Time will tell. -
EPA proposed "no discharge zone" Cayuga, Seneca, and Seneca River
DJ 17 replied to DJ 17's topic in Finger Lakes Discussion
I would have thought so too, but this was sent to me by someone who has spent the last 16 years cleaning up environmental messes all over the northeast. -
Seems like a pretty cut and dry situation. EPA Urges the Public to Weigh In on Proposal to Ban the Dumping of Sewage from Boats into Cayuga and Seneca Lakes and Seneca River Contact: John Martin, (212) 637-3662, [email protected] (New York, N.Y. – April 17, 2015) The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has proposed that a “no discharge zone†can be established for Seneca Lake, Cayuga Lake and the Seneca River. The New York State Department of Environmental Conservation petitioned the EPA to prohibit boats from discharging sewage into these waters by establishing a “no discharge zone†for the area. The EPA has reviewed the petition and found that there are adequate facilities around Lakes Cayuga and Seneca for boats to pump out their sewage, rather than dumping it in the water. Sewage discharges from boats can contain harmful levels of pathogens and chemicals such as formaldehyde, phenols and chlorine, which have a negative impact on water quality, pose a risk to people’s health and impair marine life. The EPA is encouraging the public to comment on its proposed approval until May 17, 2015. The proposed “no discharge zone†for Cayuga and Seneca Lakes includes Seneca Lake, Cayuga Lake, the Seneca River, and the connected navigable tributaries. Cayuga Lake and Seneca Lake are water bodies of unique ecological, economic and public health significance as well as drinking water sources. Establishing a “no discharge zone†for these lakes would help protect the water quality and marine life. This action is part of an EPA/New York State Department of Environmental Conservation strategy to eliminate the discharge of sewage from boats into the state’s waterways. New York State water bodies that have already been established as “no discharge zones†include Lakes Erie, Ontario, Champlain, and George, the New York State Canal System and the Hudson River, among others. EPA’s determination is available in the Federal Register at: http://www.gpoaccess.gov/fr/. For more information about “no discharge zonesâ€, visit: http://www.epa.gov/region02/water/ndz/index.html To comment on the proposed EPA approval, email, fax or mail comments to Moses Chang at [email protected], Fax: (212) 637-3891. Anyone happen to remember what size and length the bolts are that attach the mast to the mounting plate? I seem to have misplaced mine while moving to our new house.

How much copper and backing are on it?

Just for my own curiosity. Is it really necessary to have weight on the second keel? If so, why?

Like mentioned before, leadcore will be a good tool, out on your big boards or inlines if you have them. Dipsys and short coppers can work as well depending on what depth you find them in, any you can run into steelhead anywhere! Slide Divers too.

The webcam shows the lake open and ice free today. What does the bay look like? Is the coast guard launch even an option yet? Or is it all still locked up?

That is some serious water!

Forester Dave and I went as well and had a good time. It was nice to finally meet Jason from Great Lakes Lure co. Also, special thanks to Dave from R&R for giving my 3 yr old son and Dave's 5 yr old son each a free lure! They both loved it and are growing up to be little fisherman. It is people like him that keep our sport growing.
