I am going to try and get out Saturday morning. As I have to travel over an hour to get to Ontario I was just looking for some info on what's hot and what's not. As always any info would be greatly appreciated. Screamin' Reels, DJ

Has anyone tried to run a dipsy off leadcore instead of wire to get it down deeper? Would it be strong enough to absorb the initial strike? If so how did it work, and is there any depth chart available? Just a thought, while I wish I was fishing. DJ

I am just getting into running Dipsys. Does anyone have or know where to get depth charts for different size dipsy's? I have the chart for size 1 but am looking for other sizes. Minis, O, etc... Any help on the charts or how to run them would be appreciated. Thanks.

I was in the red Alumacraft 175. We were west of you guys most of the morning and then came back through maxwell around noon time. We picked up 2 on the way back to the chute east of the trailer park. The rest were all west. Has anyone tried to the east?

Went west out of the chute and picked up one fish between the trailer park and maxwell. Everything else was west. 13 for 17 on the day, it was real sporadic. We had the best luck on firetiger early, then gold/black and silver/black. Caught the majority of the fish going into the wind. A few fish were 6-9 pounds the rest were smaller.

Did anyone go out of sodus today (saturday)? I live an hour away and am thinking of going sunday. How does the forecast look? I was out on 2/23 and did ok between the trailer park and maxwell, on firetiger and silver and black sticks. Are the fish still there? Any info would be greatly appreciated. thanks

We were one of the other boats out yesterday from sodus. We landed 12 out of 15 with one weighing a little over 12 lbs.. Most of our fish came on firetiger and silver and black sticks, and watermelon spoons down 5-8 ft. Nice day for the first run of the year.
