Sold / Closed 2 new Accudepth plus 27's reels
ducks517 posted a topic in Classifieds - Buy, Sell, Trade or Rent
I have 2 new accudepth plus 27LCBL reels for sale. I have installed 12lb Berkley XT on them. They have never been used or on a rod. I decided to go another route. My loss is your gain. I have pics available if you want. They are double paddle models. You can text me at 315-559-5780 if interested. I paid $70 each for them. Asking $110 for the pair of them. -
June can be a good mix of all techniques. Worm harnesses may be coming into good technique but I would start with blade baits in early june. The XPS gold or silver are good starting point. Yes jigging is a lot more fun than trolling but trolling some cranks can be really good too. Just keep it around 1.6-1.9mph and you can get some. Very the line out. With limited tackle and boat/electronics I would stick with blade baits. I prefer to slow fish them. Some guys rip them hard. I tend to do short pops then a rip. Best way for blades to work is to use a med/light rod with a braid line and a 2' fluorocarbon leader. You need to have that FEEL.

For Erie this year we were disappointed with all the smalls, 16-18". We couldn't keep them off the line. At times we had 6 on at once. I guess it's the going to Erie thinking you want 4lb fish or bigger for almost everyone like past years. With the occasional 10lb + eye. But catching eyes none the less is fun.

Horrible at trolling stickbaits unless it's in 10' of water. Still learning the tricks to it. What are you using to get them down while deeper? Tried a few times last year with no success.

Thought more people would have these or used something along the lines of these.

THANK YOU!!! I thought I was the only one that that happened to. I have had that happen a bunch of times. Pisses me off. Outside of that I have and like them both. For browns I will use either but if I am going out for some kings etc I will use my convectors. I just think they are built better to handle the big stress that a king puts on the reels. Len

I am looking to see all my options on an accessories holder for the berts track. I have see the one from berts and traxstech. I can't seem to find any others. Want to look at them all before I pick one up. I think it will be a nice addition to the rod holders in my set up. Any info, hints or websites would be awesome. Thanks Len

Hell with the funding that they always complain about I am shocked they don't cut it back more. Seems like the only thing happening is cuts. I have never fished out there as I live right near Oneida. I think everyone wants their local lake to be stocked. We just know that it's not possible. Not sure how they determine what lakes to cut back on or what ones to stock more. Not sure surveys are that solid. Len

Nice bag. Never did make it up there this spring. Can only hope for next spring.

Copper is a bit pricey too. :/

Well it was a quick morning. Took only an hour for us to boat a limit. Got a few slobs for Oneida lake. Over all a real nice limit with a few real nice perch mixed in. The biggest one had a lot of big perch in it. One was almost 6". Hope everyone did good out there.

Good luck to all you guys going out tomorrow no matter what body of water your going out on. I'll be out on Oneida at first light.

Just curious if any of you guys are entering the walleye tourney on Oneida lake June 1? Been a good time the last few years they have had it. Here is the link to check it out http://oneidawalleyes.com/index.html

If your coming up from Maryland there is a state launch on the south shore as well. At 6am the lot will be loaded. Like said above, that weekend is mobbed on the lake. It's actually comical at the launch watching people that fish once or twice a year launching or trying to launch. So you will need patience for sure. On opening weekend you will see where the boats are mainly at. Bucktail jigs are the easiest to use to pull in a limit of fish. Len

It's like your twisting my arm to head down there and try out the fishing. I need to get down there to see what I can do. Just looked at my schedule to see about fishing in the tourney but have a graduation party that day. So it will have to be at another time. :/ But I will get down there this year.
