  8. Calls are important. Guns are important. Decoys are important But where when and how you go make the difference. Know your wind. Don’t stink it up walking in. Think about how you can place the decoy and whatever machine you buy without spooking out what you are trying to shoot. Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United
  9. Had a big fox on the bait this morning and had a shot but passed on taking it. He will be back and I’m hoping to get a yote soon and didn’t feel like schooling one that could be around. Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United

  17. I’d be in the ravines, pine woods, as out of the wind as possible. Bait sites in such locations could be good too. Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United
  18. Years back my wife called me at work. Our lab was in the back yard, at the edge of the invisible fence barking at a large yote. The yote was standing it’s ground growling at the dog. I told her where the .204 was, how to put the window down, how to brace it, how to take a deep breath, let it out and squeeze the trigger....... Click! Wtf, chamber the round and repeat... BOOM! “I got it! I got it” I was at work, kids were at school. She walked out back and dragged it behind the barn. Later that day we snapped a pic, it was pretty cool. 20. Alarm went off this morning at 4 but when I looked out whatever passed through was gone. When this latest system comes through things are going to pop. Took a long walk through one of our leases and saw very little tracks. Even the deer are laying low. Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United
  21. No pap, frozen bays, streams and ponds. Areas with cattails and basically access afforded by frozen water. Easy travel for predators in areas that haven’t been called in. Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United
  22. Sons are talking about ice hunting tonight. Braddocks and some of the other shoreline ponds provide some interesting calling opportunities. Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United
