Nope it's not. However, the launch at East Fork is. $10 to launch, if nobody's there a money box is next to the gas tank. Park up next to the old house after launching. Gravel launch, no power loading please. Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United
Sandy has been great for a while. Amazing how few boats you see. You have to ask for a radio check to see if your radios working lol. Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United
Took advantage of the cold water that moved in recently and fished for browns this morning.
Between 7:30 and 1:00 went 16 for 18 all between 6lbs and 10 lbs. couldn't find a big guy but still had a great morning. Fish were 25 to 38 feet down over 40 feet of water. Good color, good temp and tons of bait. Mag NK's 50 feet behind the balls and 125 out on the slides with 100 foot leads. All rods took fish.
Sandy has been on fire, the boats fishing kings caught on average 20 per boat. Silver Fox did a 16+ Atlantic yesterday. 100 foot is for the kings seemed to be about best.

Won't be long till yote season Ken. Can't wait, sucks not being able to smack the ones in my back yard. Oh well, their time will come. Big one again this afternoon. Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United mobile app
Cool thing is I never had to go above nice. Can't say I wasn't surprised. If anyone wants the firewood pm me. It's cut and stacked neatly near the road. It's Box Elder. Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United
So last week I talked with a manager at Birchcrest, the company that did the trimming. She gave me the number for Kevin, the arborist at RGE that was in charge of the job. Kevin called me this afternoon and was awesome. An hour later Birchcrest was back and took what was left of the tree down. Very happy with both companies as well as the representatives I dealt with. Thing burned and sunk. Happened in the middle of the night. Falmouth harbor had diesel fuel all over, nasty stuff. Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United
Family a mile west of me have had yotes bothering their dog recently. Last weekend their dog got into a scrap with a couple and my buddy's wife went out to break it up and lost most of a finger in the process. There isn't much woods or cover where they live so it surprises me. I'm going to be more careful letting mine out and may take a little more aggressive stance regarding those that visit my property. The company that did the work is large and local. I'm going to talk to RG&E but if I don't get them to take the tree down I'm going back to the company that did the work. They have an impressive website and a very good reputation. For the amount it would take to remove the tree I would think it would make more sense than a couple bad online reviews on social media. Guess we'll have to see. Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United
Great info, I appreciate it. I am however going to push one of the parties to take down the tree. Worst thing to happen is I take it down myself. Too bad, I liked that tree. Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United
The rep from the tree company says that RG&E sent letters out some time ago and that I probably threw it out. Could be possible. It looks terrible, waiting for the arborist from RG&E to call me back. Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United
So should I be talking to the town or the company that did what the signs on the road said were "trimming". If you're taking that much out, with no warning, take out what's left. Did they stack up the logs next to it because they thought I'd like them or because it's my job to get rid of them? Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United
So I live in Greece and today the town hired a local tree company to trim trees near or affecting power lines. I get it, it needs to be done. They did a long stretch of the road I live on including one of my trees.
You guys tell me, I'm I wrong to think they went overboard on one of mine? If they are going to cut off 75% of it shouldn't they just take the whole thing?

Set up today in 200 at 630 and fished till 11. Was a steady pic until I worked a line west in 250 from the pump house to area 1 when it became epic. Doubles, triples, couldn't keep them off. Ended up with over 20 fish. Mostly 8 to 12 pound kings but also 5 or 6 steelhead including one around 12 pounds. Beautiful morning till the east wind came up but by then it had already been a great day. Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United mobile app
