Me and one of my sons casted off the pier this evening. No fish but a pretty evening and the pier ice free. Could be good the next couple days. Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United
Before long there will be nothing but rocks and lake trout in Lake Ontario. Shortly thereafter the rocks will be history. Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United
Matt from what I know the guy sees movement, hits it with the light. The victims eyes light up and the guy thinks coyote and shoots. Must say I have never lit someone at night, maybe their eyes light up? Internet says people's eyes don't light up. I think the guy just shot at movement. Horrible situation, prayers to both parties, scary stuff. Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United
Older mount but I still love it. First one I ever shot. Running dogs, came out of nowhere. I was so excited, was whooping and hollering, guys thought I was nuts. What a great day. Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United
Billy said there was a giant on the side of the pond yesterday around 530 but he couldn't get a shot. Had a fox on the deer at 430 this morning , hope he stays away. Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United
Ha ha here's the story. Saw him half a dozen times last night. Every time we hit the light he screwed. Was always right at the edge of the brush or behind the pond with no shot. At 445 the alarm goes off and I lower the window.... he's very skittish and is walking quickly back and forth around the deer. I decide to forgo the light and struggle to find him in the scope. I can see him in the scope but not very well. I wait for a decent shot and BOOM!!!! Smoke fills the night sky. I go in my room to get dressed. My wife is thoroughly pissed that I have now woken her up at least a half dozen times but who cares I'm going out to claim my prize and post my trophy pic. No blood and no coyote. No huge surprise, I've missed my share over the years. I go back up to my room and the wife is very unimpressed. "Your turning off the alarm now right?" Hell no, I'm not turning off the alarm. My guess is in the next hour or so I will get a text from home, or better yet another pic telling me that there's a coyote on the deer. Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United
bastards woke me up with no shots the last three nights and now that im at work he comes out in broad daylight. His days are numbered. Looks big to me, hope he isn't rubbed up.
