  1. Having launched at the oak and the river, I'm more confused.
  2. For less than a third of what people pay to dock elsewhere.
  3. Why? Other than a short pad, it's pretty good.
  4. And in my opinion very few hassles inherent at other ports.
  5. Sandy is the best little port on the south side of the lake.
  6. Pay attention to the launch if you're dropping a big boat. The pads a little short, you don't want the wheels of your trailer to go over it.
  7. Poor guy, my only advice is don't eat the lake trout. Go get that pizza down the road. Worst comes to worst do a stir fry with stomach contents of the laker and throw the rest away.
  8. S&W M&P
  9. I have always loved big Browns and have been fortunate enough to have caught a few. Can't imagine one like those.
  10. Close, (wtf now I'm the old guy). A 39+ lb laker did , caught early 90's? There is a pic of Dave Chilson and the angler and fish on the wall at East Fork Marina. I remember it was caught on a Sassy Shad.
  11. was out for two hours yesterday in 100-200 and didn't see much. Had a small king and dropped a teenager behind the boat. Saw very few marks and zero bait. Never know, it could be better tomorrow, good luck
  12. Sorry, just saw September. If I can help you I will.
  13. X2. Going to try it with sea bass.
  14. Welcome Linda

  16. Wish I wasn't working. This event is a ton of fun. Anyone can fish it and anyone can win it. Great bunch of guys and you just can't beat Sandy.
  17. Some good info on "lifting" in the tributary section. Gotta think if you got caught you could just say you were catfishing.
  18. Mouse/rat traps should scare them off without doing any serious damage.
  19. I have had a stray in my food plot and back property for two years. It hasn't bothered me so I've left it alone. I'm surprised the yotes haven't gotten it.
  20. Welcome rattler
  21. Twice in the past ten years cats have decided to mark their territory in my boat. Bye bye kitty.
