    Looks like an early spring. Sandy's clear of ice and the long range forecast looks good looking forward to getting out.

    Find warm water with some stain or color to it. If there's a mudline either work the edge or cross in and out of it. Temp is number one. Cold, gin clear water is hit and miss at best. If you aren't catching move. When you are, stay on that spot. Even if it means turning around.

    we get a lot of skunks, coons and fox. Its tough when the alarm starts going off every fifteen minutes

    Yote out last night twice and again at 6 this morning. Couldn't get a shot. Plus too many skunks, possums and a fox. Maybe tonight (or early am) we will get a shot.

    The one we currently use is an LED flashlight. May run power to the pile area this summer and put up overhead red light.

    Had one at 9 pm and 4am on the bait but took off as soon as we lit them up. I just have to be patient. Will post a pic as soon as we whack another. If I get home before dark I will pull the chip and post a pic if there is an interesting one.

    Big yotes carry themselves differently than young ones. Kind of like old deer. Just a different kind of animal.

    He seems to hear the window go down. He is really skittish but he keeps coming back. Big grey bastard. deep chest and big shoulders.

    Same yote as last night just came through again. Things a pig. Hope to get a shot but so far it just doesn't like the light.

    Had a yote on the pile at 1am last night but it ran off when I hit the light.
