  12. nothing moving last night, they have to eat sometime
  13. Deep snow, went out back and dug out and flipped over the deer. Going to be cold tonight. Bring it!!
  14. Deer are moving, wonder if the yotes will. Carcass is buried under 20+ inches of snow, not sure if the detectors window is covered with snow or not but either way I will take a walk in the am and look for tracks.
  15. Keep forgetting to change the date on the trailcam, it's a day ahead
  16. Great stuff MachZ! They have to eat! Looks like I had a visitor the other night. I just put fresh batteries in the motion detector and flipped over the deer. Maybe tonight!
  17. Wish the wind would lay down. Nothing moving. When it does they have to be cold and hungry.
  18. that's terrible. Fantastic person, always a smile and always willing to help anyone. Prayers to Jason.
  19. Maybe next year we will figure out a way to do video. Could really piss some people off!!!!
  20. I think the low temp is more important than deep snow. They need food to stay warm but they don't like heavy wind.
  21. With either gun there is rarely an exit wound. Unless you shoot a fox with the .204 where it can get ugly.
  22. I don't use the 17 on yotes, just fox. I use the .204 on yotes and still didn't recover two hit hard over snow covered ground. I want the pelts to be as clean and undamaged as possible but the ,204 packs a little more umpf. I'm sure a lot of yotes are killed with a .17 but again, both guns are leaned up and depending on what's out the window, I get to take my pic.
  23. Mike and Matt If you google earth our set, it's really a huge draw. Habitat couldn't be better.
