Scary times

Pic from this morning, no shots. Tommy shot one tonight, hour later my daughter shot one as well but it didn’t drop. Good blood through the red brush, Hopefully it’s dead as well.

Curious as to what the payment would be.

Had my boat there for 20+ years. Place is special. Surprised slips are available. Great place and great people.

Offshore yesterday was a bust. 7 footers plus came off the water early. Epic backcountry trip with my daughter though. Landed three dozen plus Snook, a two man limit of jumbo Mangrove Snapper. Guide put in over 70 miles to put us on good fish. Highlight for me was when I got bit off by a BIG Barracuda. Retied and pitched and it was on. Took me into the mangroves but got lucky and a half hour later we got it in the boat. No clue what it weighed but it bottomed out his 20lb Boga Grip. Was a wonderful day.

Tommy met a guy on the dock behind the condo this morning that has a 5000 acre farm in Minnesota. Got his business card and permission to hunt. It never ends.

In the meantime Wahoo steaks and Snapper fish tacos for dinner.

Offshore in the morning, going to be a little sporty lol 15-20 out of the east. Flats trip on Monday, hopefully get my daughter on some Bonefish. Beautiful here.

Really cool place, love coming down here. Family is diving tomorrow, not me, I’m going to do some shore fishing. Going offshore again on Sunday and flats fishing with my daughter on Monday.
