  1. the only one i didnt like was woodstock. it seemed to break easily, cost me a few fish. im using mason now
  2. Very good condition, bought it used (it was 2 seasons old) and I used it once last year. Clicker and drag work fine.
  3. i did ebay for a few. i would not pay $30 to ship, but its gonna be at least $15 to ship from anywhere
  4. greens been the color for us also. have been running orange for steelhead every trip out and they won't touch it
  5. Good am bite for us as well Sunday. After 1030 they really shut down for us got a few more hits but none boated. Only one skippy king and the rest lakers and steelhead. UV stingrays for us on 5 colors were best. Same depths as Rich D. Nice scumline out there. Packed it in at 1pm. We had a flasher out on the wire all day but not a single hit on it. All our fish came 35' and up. Tons of boats out on Sunday morning in close all the way out to 250 and everywhere inbetween.
  6. Beckman Walleye 22"x28" treated bag
  7. that steelies tail is toast
  8. where are you getting these reports?
  9. the wind crushed us today out at 545am and off by 730.....
  10. i think he means after he sold the depthraider and put that $ towards the new unit, it was another $400. Coated cable sux!! I don't use the clincher, I like the wire knot I stripped just enough coating off the cable to tie the wire knot to a snap swivel. To get the knot to cinch down I used a downrigger weight and hung it off a table (hang on to the rigger or it will tip off). Then electrical taped the whole thing right up to the swivel. I know some people tie direct to the probe bypassing the swivel. This will give you a better signal, however you will not be able to remove the probe at the end of the day.
  11. did you seal the back end of the probe with vasoline or anything to help keep water out? also, are you using a clincher? or did you just strip some wire and tie the wire knot like you would with stainless dipsy diver wire? and keep the antenna wet this helps alot or you will be seeing - - -
  12. funny you say that. when i pulled the boat last year from the marina it did exactly that. the kicker was rev'd up and wouldn't back off I couldn't figure out why. i have the troll master pro2, pictured below. I contacted the company with my issues and they told me to pull everything wires included and send it in for repair. Where is the servo located? This is the unit I have:
  13. when ur troll master servo went bad did it display anything on the screen? mine has been displaying black squares of death all the way across the screen as soon as the battery switch is turned on and i cant get rid of them.
  14. Nice job, 40 fish is unreal. what were they hitting?
  15. hope it picks up. i would try some green spoons, glow frog or NBK. we took a king, two weeks ago now, on small walker diver 82mm out 115 on the wire. kings are tough to find this time of year
  16. that fish would be in 4th place for the derby if you had a ticket
  17. Coast guard had a serious boat out there on saturday. They were cruising the area throwing a massive wake but also saw them stop a boat and tie up to them! My gps puts me around 50FOW directly in front of the plant, that's as close as you can get without going inside the red lines.
  18. we set riggers at 35-40ft in that 50-60 fow range and had them popping on sunday. they were mainly lakers tho.
  19. nice fish and numbers. when you crossed deeper water you kept your lures in that same 4-8ft?
  20. just a heads up. bought some NEW cannon covers for my mag 10 stx. the cover does not fit around the rear rod holder... im guessing they won't fit around the digi troll holders either.
  21. yea you need the 2nd keels. they come with a diagram i think its 14 and 9. do that exactly and never mess with them again. and you drill new holes an inch below the stock ones to tie into
  22. i doubt it, it worked all last year fine and I haven't touched it since I got the boat from the previous owner. i emailed the company and they told me to send it in for repair.... display, servo, wires and all.
