  1. The reduction of lakers and kings are like night and day, the Kings only live 4 years, where the lakers are here for 20+ years, I'd say cut the lakers by 30% and maybe go 5% on the Kings. If the pen rearing prodjects produce much better, then the guys who do the pens could easily make up the difference. Pray for a mild winter for the sake of the alewives!!, hope they take up gobies as there main appetizer, so they eat less alewives. LOL. This will prove interesting to say the least.
  2. Sorry to hear your leaving us Wolfman😢 I see both sides of the story, my uncles are old school and won't change in their ways to the point, where it isn't fun for me anymore!! I mean it's not 1986 when the water wasn't crystal clear, the days of running lures to their depth should be good is no more. The days of 50-60 bass a day are gone, where if you found a weed bed and had live minnows you could fish all your minnows off in 1 1/2-2 hrs, aren't going to happen, first off the weed beds out of the Black River are gone!! Try telling a 76 year old guy who's been fishing longer than I've been on planet earth you need to run your lures 2-3-4 hundred feet behind your boat 😤 You'll get are you phucken nuts kid?? I've been busy this year rigging my trailer so I can go solo, skipper19 got me well under way, a few more inventions and I got er licked!! Best of wishes to ya Wolfman!!
  3. Yup lots thicker then a Sutton 44 more like a NK., kick arsh spoons. I only own a few any more, and they hang off the horns in my man cave LOL
  4. Man that had me excited cant imagine actually being on the scene. You pulled off some seasoned King fishing there Skipper a novice would of lost at least 1 or both. Congrats to your evening and solo at that!!!
  5. Everything is cool here, appreciate the edit--"bandrus1"
  6. I certainly didn't read any politics on this proud to be an American thread?? In memory of all our love ones
  7. I had the same deal with my boat, and it was that little magnesium rudder under the lower unit. Mine was strait and like posted above I had to turn mine one way or another but like mine was like a 1/4" one way or another, that was the ticket, and I added trim tabs later.
  8. Man that is a haul!! Your barrels must warm by the end LOL!! Congrats to your hunt and good shooting, now the work begins, breast pieces fried in butter and garlic, man your shyting in tall cotton bud!!!
  9. Good job guys!! 🎣 👌 ðŸŸ
  10. Hey your most welcome, unfortunately I'm not familiar with your area. If you need info about in general stuff I might be able to help. Man your lucky, cause your in prime walleye waters, not far from the Bay of Quinte' my dream waters, as I'm a eye fisherman, someday I'll get there!!! Your friend PAP.
  11. Welcome aboard Chico, you've come to the right place for all the in's and out's about the fishing for trout, salmon, and lakers ect. No question is dumb or stupid as we all been there don that. Best of luck to ya!! PAP.
  12. I would of liked to see all blue around the boat not blacktop, how's he ever going to get it back in the water? That fish won't fit in a 5 gallon bucket. Congrats to the fisherman so close to a NY record!!! And so far away from the water ✌ 😬
  13. That's awesome, what a thing to happen to a youngster, let alone an adult, I bet he was all smiles from ear to ear!! Congrats to a once in a lifetime happening!!!
  14. Thanks SylvanTroller, I sent him pics and I have what he wants, the golden eagle bow that's shown, is the exact same I have. If I had just 1 more day to hunt or fish with my dad, I would go to any length to make that happen!!! Dad passed away from cancer, he was my best friend X10. If I could help someone hunt or fish one more day with their dad or many days for that matter, and I could help with what I have, let's make it happen. I'll never climb another tree and I can't go good enough to hunt with a bow. Anyone that puts their life in harms way for us is priceless and if I can return the favor that's who I am. GO USA!!!!!
  15. Disrespecting our service men and ladies there's no excuse period!!! I've been dealing with Henchens for 20+ years also, I've never been treated like that. I would have to say they had a stand in that didn't know Jack shyt. Those guys sell to charters all the time. I hope I'm wrong, and it wasn't the owners!!!
  16. Where is Hudson fall also interested have 4&6 foot booms not worried about the factory shorties.
  17. Nice ride I own the same boat, luv it!! Good luck with your sale!!
  18. I have an OL' man climber is the one he's looking for have the netting for the seat? I bought it at the Sportsman show in Harrisburg. I might have used it dozen times. I also have a bow but it's an older compound bow the let off isn't no way near what the newer ones are. If he's a service man of the US. Military he can have it. I'll never use it again as I have fallen off the second story of our house and busted my back off at the waist, 3 surgeries later I'm walking again. I can take pics. for ya, see if it's what you want. PAP. I live in kunkletown Pa. 18058 if interested let me know, I'd be happy to help you guys out
  19. I for the life of me can't understand that any mechanic would pull the head and put lifters in and a used cam shaft, that's like changing the oil and just wiping the filter clean on the outside. Most cams I ever put in the lifters and cam are a set but paid for individually. Now you need another head gasket, when the heads off check the ridge, this is where the piston stops at the top see if you feel like a ledge at the top, basically the cylinder is wore, there shouldn't be a ledge at the top of the cylinder, check all the cylinders for a bump at the top. If so pull a few rod bearings for wear, should look the same in the middle of the bearing as the sides if you can see brass other then a even grey colors I'd pull the whole works apart and do it right, if you think it's worth the boat. I'd trust a rebuild before a used motor might go through all that work and $$$ and have the same or worse than what you already have. Best of luck to ya!! PS the ridge in the cylinder is tolerable up to just that you can feel it, as there could some carbon deposits there also.
  20. Yes damn near the best $$$can buy
  21. Congrats there Justin, sounds like otisco ain't so bad after all!! Keep at it. Think once Mother Nature makes her mind up its gonna get ugly fast.
  22. Xxx

    Beginners luck!

Awesome job on the eyes, what's the length of the smallest one? They all got nice shoulders on them, makes for nice fillets!!
  23. My favorite J plug is the Crome bloody nose, basically silver with a red head, watch the finder and see where the majority of the fish are 25-35 ft back hook to release. At this point it's a reaction bite, basically they hit the plug out of frustration or just "get out of my way I have a job to finish with not much time left" best of luck to ya!!!
