WOW that's a great price, what size motor is in it? I have a 1981 350/350 horse out of a BAHA all rebuilt begging for a home

I use 20# fluro, the straiter the presentation the better, plus like Justin mentioned you can pull a tank through the rocks with no problem.

Are you saying you can't reach down to pick it up when it's down, or is the angle the issue? Put the bracket in the running position so me and others can see to get a better idea of what to do. I know guys that made a wedge to compensate for the angle. There's a company that specializes in transome brackets, I took there dimension and made a swim platform bracket out of aluminum, I can't remember as of now but I'll do a search for ya. Take a few pics for us from the side so we all can get ideas for ya!! The name of the bracket company is Adventure Marine, they might be able to make one to your specs. Or help you out with your bracket.

Tie up some ultra death rigs with smiley blades, they have the slow death rigs but you reall want is the ultra faster spin and the max smiley blades kick ass, or a #4-5 deep cup Colorado blade with # 4 gamatzu circle hooks. I like the 3 hooks because when I fished Erie it was all about how strait the worm was and hook the worm as far front on the nose of the worm, so non like fold back. I don't know if it's a hardened fact but I only use red hooks.

Both sides. They were the best pattern I ever used, you can't keep that Dodger in the water, and a Michael Jackson spoon behind the fire works Dodger or a white or green/blue fly!!

I put in 2 group 27 start/ deep cycle, one for my main motor and the other for all the other goodies, my local marinia talked me into the start/trolling batteries he claims that's the best of both worlds, these batteries don't discharge as fast yet can handle the fast recharge of a alternator, I know from being in the starter and alt business for 22 years that a deep cycle only battery needs to be charged slow as it discharges slow, also this type battery is hard on alternators as they want to blow amperage into the battery that can't accept that kind of a load which in turns blows diodes in the alternator, where the start/trolling battery can accept this type of return from the alt.

That's awesome Jeff, how about a walleye spoon? Even if it's just the color scheme, what about a smaller profile? I know Jeff I want everything, but this would rethink the walleye spoon world, this would be the perfect storm, the eyes would be in serious trouble!!

I have one on my 25/06 it's a 1" tube. I had to use a lift in my mounts, as the front bell hit on the barrel. Mine has the heavy barrel with no taper on the barrel, just a heads up!! They are sweet!! and the most light gathering scope I ever owned. I have taken yotes at well over a hundred yards at night, with snow on the ground and a full moon, no need for a light. I took mine anywayLOL

Your funny, in this day and age now we need a cooler that's as good as refrigerator, what the hell does it matter how deep a man fishes, a lake trout will decay at the same rate as blue gill or did they change since I graduated in 1982?. Whatever you think Fleet, you have the best of the best that we all know!!

I don't know where some of these guys fish out of that a bag of ice is so hard to find?, we all need water and most of us know a few days beforehand when we're leaving, so what we have been doing for years now is freezing a case of water. We put the bottles individually in the freezer then when we are packing our coolers for camp we line the bottoms of our cooler with the frozen water bottles, foods and stick a few frozen waters in the mix of things to help out a little. This same ordeal was the way we packed for Canada a 18-1/2 hrs ride, 118 miles on dirt roads 50/60mph while the rest of the gear, motors metal gas cans tackle boxes, my family has been do this 30-40 years ago. Yes they had propane operated refridguaters and gas lights, we got dropped of buy a float plane and we were there for 7 day, Colmam has been around and Igloo for many years. If you need a 4-5 hundred $ cooler then have at it. Coleman coolers never let me down and never will. These coolers have more years experience then all those high end coolers have put together. A commercial that had Jim Shokey's in, a cooler falls off a his truck and tumbles down a mountain and he picks it up at the bottom and it's perfect because it's a Yeti!! But if Jim went up the mountain with a Coleman cooler and tied it down it would of been a little more smart of Jim, but that would be a boring commercial, wouldn't it. This is a Ford-Chevy debate, that will never end, buy what fits your wallet and be proud of what you bought.
