Wow the moonshine shiver lure looks awesome, with a much wider color selection. I do use the Rapela jigging lures, but there are 2 different ones, there is the jigging rap, generally used through ice, these don't have as big of a wing span like the one used in the open water which is called the Snap rap, they have much broader wing span so the flutter a lot better than the jigging rap. The snap rap is what I use and have moderate or better success with the snap rap over the jigging rap.

running both main motor and kicker off of one battery

Absolutely Les, you hit the nail on the head!! After my experience I now carry a third up in the cuddy, with a pair of jumper cables. I'm also considering one of those jump boxes, but I don't know how much reserve they have. I had a battery puke while fishing, went to hit the key and nothing 😱 So luckily the other battery had enough juice to start the main, if I would of only had 1 battery it would be a long ride home with the kicker. -

Prof T. that's one of the main reasons I never fish the 1st day of eye season, those other numb heads that fire up and blast through the crowd, then there's the guys that think they own the lake and your supposed to move over, in your case, the loss of a lure. There goes $10.00 but he doesn't care!! I remember when I had smaller boats those guys with there bigger boat used to lean on us little guys all the time. Not this year!!

I have the same set up, 2 batteries hooked to the Perko selecter switch, I run my electronics and kicker off one and my main motor off the other, when my finder shows less than 11volts 10.9-10.5Volts, I just fire up the main switch the selector switch to both. When I'm reading 14 volts I shut her down and go back to Battery 1. I was self employed, and had a starter and alternator shop so I have a 130 amp alt also, but any alt. Will do the job just take longer. -

They work pretty good to clean up my outdrive, dam near looks like new, I even put a coat of wax on hoping it keeps that deep black color. My wife uses them in the shower and they remove the water stains, so I used them to wash off the Black River stains, I was supprised that it worked so well, before I used to have to compound it off. Now in a hour I'm done, but I do put a coat of wax on where I scrubbed the stains off. I don't see any scratch marks in the gel coat, so they can't be that aggressive?, maybe on vinyl, I use Mothers cleaner, conditioner.

Now if it was "three ladies trolling" that wouldn't sound so fishy, get my drift!!! LOL -
Just keep everything far enough front that nothing gets to the rear of the boat and possibly a rope in the prop. Other than that Chase is spot on with the rest. Good luck, hope they get down in speed!! OH one other plus with bags is when it's rough out there the bags act like an anker and keep the boat more stabil in the waves. I now run a kicker but at times I miss the bags. Oh well can't have everything.

Thanks Minion, I just cleaned my back window a put your sticker on, looks great!! I watched a few vids. And tied up 2 flies and they look Awesome, I had to order more hooks, the type you suggested, the tackle shops around here don't carry the big heavy duty type, more less bass and trout supplies but they could get them, I could of went to Cabela's but it's a hour ride and they don't always have everything. Matter of fact I told the manager that I've been here 3 F'n times for Spro swiveles, and they didn't have the sizes I wanted, there's the spot for them and I bought them here, what's going on? He told me that they only carry 30% of what's in the catalog, new policy he said, so I'll just continue to use our local bait & tackle shop.

I like your theory, find them face down in the river, sorry for your situation, since my back surgeries and becoming disabled, we put a alarm system in, and I was able to keep my carry permit, God bless the sole that enters my house or boat without permission. I think a example of one of these guys should be made, might make the next dude think twice, there ain't one tackle box wort dieing over!!!
