LOL 3 boys trolling, I don't think they were trolling but they were pulling, just not fish. The old saying " you can't fix stupid" moving right along. -
I run cow bells with spin& glows behind the cow bells, get ahold of Gambler on this site, he will hook you up with everything you'll need and to know. We troll slow 1.8mph over water seems to be good fish near the bottom even bouncing your rigger ball on the bottom creates a cloud down there and that's what creates bites. I have made my version of a bottom bouncer with 2 rigger weights. I took 2 pancake type weights and drilled and tapped the weight. Then I went to the hardware store and bought a 4ft piece of 3/8 all thread cut it in half and screwed the all thread into the rigger weight and used a jam nut up against the weight now I have approx. 20"'s of rod sticking below the ball so I can scrape bottom and my lures are 20"s above the bottom. I used this method successfully with out Brian's Riggs I can't wait to use this setup as a whole. Hope this gives you an idea of fishing these beasts!! Good luck Pap

Just wanted to say thanks for your services!! If you have riggers get yer' self a set of rigger weights, there are guys on here that make really good ones, don't buy the round balls, they suck, I bought mine from Harvey, Trout Man nice looking torpedo looking like. There is a another guy called Bikinl Bottom he make them also. Get yourself rigged up for lake trout they like to play a lot more then the other species. Good luck Sarge!!

I have done a few transom's in my time but that takes the cake!! There was no evidence of a soft floor in the back? Well one thing with it being that decade it made it a lot easier to remove LOL, looks fantastic!!! And now you have a almost like new Grady White, there are one lean mean fishing machines! The Coast Guard uses that brand, that should tell you something. Good luck with it. Now you can open the carbs and your motor and it won't tear off the back of the boat. LOL, Pap

Some of my best days were the 2nd week of June when the waters were cold late into May. Right tight against the cat tails in the Black River Bay. -
Man those are some sweet colors Mike!! I wish you the best, not to mention for an extra $2.40 per fly with the caliber of hooks your using I don't see a need to buy the unrigged ones, there are some that have their own bag of tricks up their sleeve so it's nice to be able to buy either way. The thing I find the best is that there is another person with lots of knowledge about the lake "we" fish building these flies and another reason to go no further than LOU to purchase the best of the best!! Well done Mike.

Hell that ain't bad, gallon per hour, 8 hrs=8 gallons, that wouln't even move the gauge. What carbs were on from factory, that made your change them. Edelebrock carbs. are supposed to be a very efficient on fuel yet have some kick ass performance once you open those puppies up. Best of luck with it!! Pap

That could be the ticket there Firechief48, because when we bundled our car ins. along with the home owners, plus being over 50 years of age my truck went from $1300.00 a year to $550.00 a year with a $500.00 deductible and full collision. I'll have to look into this. Thanks for the heads up. Pap.

I like the rod holders on each side, that was a smart thought!!! Also can't tell which way yer go'in because rule of thumb usually they're pointed back! So off in the distance one would think your trolling one way because rods are pointed front, when actually your going the oppositeLOL! Beautiful ride man!! That's what dreams are all about. I couldn't afford the fuel. That ride puts salmon per # about $10,000LOL hey you can't put a price on fun with friends & family, that's just plain and simple!!! Tight lines to you!!

The mans name is Nick, very easy to deal with. His site is under construction, it's useable, but not everything is on the site, enough to get a good start. This is by far the best spoons I ever saw, just for the records they do work, this morning we pulled two eyes out of our local lake, which is tough. They have all the food they need, but two couldn't refuse rotten veggies, I thought the perch colored spoons would do the damage, not in this case, these spoons have a action like no other, with the flared up front and the big cup in the back produces a sweet side to side action like 180* one way and the same the other. Perfect action!! I was going to keep this under my hat, but I just couldn't do that to my brother LOU members, I like to share info and would hope others follow!! You are very welcome Hooked Up. Pap

Yea I kinda was wondering the same thing? Thanks guys for the heads up!! -
Those real image spoons are just awesome. They look as if they are beyond human ability?? When I first saw them I thought they were computer made, folks this is NOT the case. Nick is in the automotive paint business. This is where he learned to paint. He took his knowledge and his artistic abilities and his passion for fishing, and combined them into to best looking spoons I ever saw!! AWESOME JOB NICK!!!! Pap
