  1. Yea mine are attached to the rigger, the package they come in shows how to mount to rigger. Thanks PAP
  2. Well I'd bet dollars to doughnuts, that there are more people than one could shake a stick at with that dumbass mentality. That's the old school mentality, that same guy probably sings a sweet song about a 10# eye, they're mean lean eating machines also, I caught a huge eye in LakeO, but really I hooked a 18-20" pike that the eye grabbed a hold of, the eye was never hooked. He was surprised as hell as dad slid the net under the both, there had to be 8" of pike sticking out each side of the eyes mouth. I guess we should kill all the big eyes then? Wonder what that jackass would have to say about this situation?!!! There's 1 in every crowd half the time their bark is worse than their bite. If you talk that dumb I highly doubt that he's smart enough to catch a tiger. LOL
  3. Gotcha, I thought maybe there was some new fan dangle apparatus on there that I wasn't aware of!!? Thanks for clarifying that. PAP
  4. I do the same with the hook in the noodle and I just happened to have several hundred 1/2" horseshoe shaped galvanized nails. They look like a "U" but upside down.
  5. How to you have the weight snap fastened with out the plastic terminal end???
  6. That's a darn good idea!!!!thanks for sharing.
  7. Welcome aboard dualstrats, like stated above this is a great site, lots of seasoned anglers, such as yourself, it would be interesting to share techniques from our Canadian freinds as well ours with you. Good luck and looking forward to reading your posts!! PAP
  8. Thanks for the above info, Storm Warning II PAP. That was a big help!!!
  9. That's a lot trailer for what your asking, wish I had the extra$$$ lots of room and a real shower!!! Very nice I wish you the best with your sale.
  10. I found a place that sells parts for the EZ Steer, you can purchase just the piece you need, was like $60 with the joint end in and I replaced the joint in one I had a long time. Anytime you lose something it hit's the wallet. LOL
  11. I saw the Lindy style of those weights but never in cased like the first pic. Cool!!

    you opinion

Not CPswings but #4 Vibrex spinners. Cut off hook add a 12" peice of 12# fluro with a #8 SPRO swivel and a Slow Death.
  13. She is the best!! Never has she said no your not going here or there, or what's that going to cost!! My family comes first, my daughters, my wife then my father in law then me, and yes as long as I tell her when I'll be back she doesn't care. She will rout her schedule to suite me not being there but I better be there when I say I'll be home, so I don't screw up her plans. I have never told her she can't go with her friends either!! She went to Aruba for a week with her college friends, and last summer my father in law gave us a 50th birthday gift, a paid in full trip to Hawaii for 10 days that included our 2 daughters. And about 5 years ago she and a teacher freind went to the main island of Hawaii for a week. I really do have a good one.wishinfishin!! Thanks for acknowledging that, means a lot to me. PAP.
  14. Gotcha, you might be surprised, but those 4 strokers are sweet, at least you can hear what your guys are saying, and you won't smell like you were cutting firewood all day. LOL. Wish you well.
  15. I know it states not to mess with the tension screw, supposed to purchase their elastic strap, mine did the same thing, it came apart and while trying to disconnect from the I/o under water 2ft waves sloshing me till I was soaked out on the swim platform I dropped the end, now I'm done, the new one I cranked the tension screw in now it works perfect. One other thing make sure you flip the kicker handle back towards the kicker or the handle will get caught on something and it won't steer or it will come apart. Don't ask how I know this LOL!!

    you opinion

They certainly wouldn't be my first 3 go to lures, sorry
  17. Very true!! That's exactly what I was going to add, every Monday at 7pm there was supposed to show the walleye tour, if you don't see it that night your shyt out of luck, BUT the lily pad fish that you can't even tell what it is till they clear all the salad YEA, YEA WHAT a HOG, good grief give me a break, and rerun after rerun off bass, poles like broom sticks 100lbs braid for a fish you could land with 8# test if you didn't have to drag it through the woods to net it. Get Real!!! JMO LOL.
  18. That's more dogs on a pile than most contests bring around here
  19. JT, are you going going with the smart troll? I would guess that you use electric but with riggers out and boards that might be a good option. I know a guy I fished Lake Wallenpawpack with that is a sweet thing, he had a 200hp on the back and was able to get down to 2.3 at 650rpm amazing, if I ever had it to do all over that's the rout I would go. Good luck with your new horses!! LOL PAP.
  20. Nice, looks real good, is it a **** to lower the motor as you have 2 items to lower and raise, the tilt of the motor then lower in kicker, I have my hands full just tilting the motor it actually raises itself when I'm done or want to move for me major PITA. I would much rather have a jack plate!! That's definitely down the road a peice 😰
  21. Man that was some good engineering there on the bracket, I have the same Johnson motor I think mines a little older, but works flawlessly. Does your kicker when tilted up catch the water? I have mine on the swim platform and it's just that it doesn't. Take care Les. PAP.
  22. Very interesting there RSF thanks for sharing, I just that was the rigger hum everyone talks about. Ever since I owned this new to me boat it just don't produce like my other 18fter same stuff, I even had a oak board made to fit where the canopy folds into so it's mounted to wood with the ground running from battery to the rigger the only way this could happen on my boat, the ground is mounted to the bell housing, you would think if a positive wire was rubbed through it would blow a fuse. I'll have to test it in the spring. Good thread guys!!!
  23. Thanks Dan, that puts me up to the amount I need. Thanks a lot to all fellow members that helped me out!! Thanks again PAP.
  24. A lot of the guys have mentioned the same colors other than the goby color, I would have thought a few folks would have said, don't forget the "GOBY" pattern, is this just a over look or is this a must have item. Yea or Nay??? Thanks PAP.
  25. Les is spot on about the hidden options, last year somehow I got into a small sonar screen and the other 2/3rds was gps, I for the life of me I couldn't figure out how to get it back. After retuning to camp I got my I pad out to figure what the hell to do. Go here push twice scroll down hit this, BLA BLA BLA the direction books should 1/2" thick instead of nine little pages.
