  1. That's awesome Rich those stinger spoons have always been a ace in the hole for me. Those bay rats look awesome hanging in the mouth of a fish. I can't wait to run the ones we purchased this year. What speed were you running? Off boards or just flat lining ? Excellent photos also. Oh one other thing, the bay rats, were you running the shallow longs or shorts, I purchased the longs?
  2. That's a good price, you can't buy hamburger let a lone all the steaks, we always buy from a local farmer, I cut them up offer they hang in my buddy's cooler for 10 days a lot of work but well worth it. My kids won't eat store bought steaks, they don't tast the same they tell me
  3. I bet, now with extreme cold temps. might put the breaks on fishing from a boat for awhile again 😤 👎
  4. Those trout are awesome!!! Looks like not only did the fish but up a good battle, but you guys were in less than perfect conditions, way to hang in there wile being safe also. Nice going BrownDown66.
  5. Thanks Les, I messed around with the girls loom rubber bands and they broke at 6#'s of pull on a trigger scale which I thought would be right. If a blacks release is set at 2-3lbs so that should be enough to pull a top 10ft of the water column lure or enough to pull a worm harness and also enough to pull a shallow diver on leadcore at any depth which the core settles in at. The rubber bands need to hold the lure while in tow yet enough backbone to be able to make a good hook set. Plus these are easy to see neon colors. PAP.
  6. You are very welcome, and thanks for your time to set this up. PAP "Mike"
  7. How long are the booms and what's the max weight they can lift
  8. Two questions, can you fit more than one in the shipping box. Like 3 maybe, second where or what do you think is the best to use for meat. Thanks pap.
  9. How true that is, my wife doesn't mind I go she more interested when I'll be back, two ways to think about this, is she really into to you and can't wait till your back. Or does she have other plans not including you and wants to know when your comming home to clear your pad, get my drift?? LOL
  10. Les are you using the small bands that the kids use in those loom kits to make bracelets and stuff they come in neon colors?? Thanks pap.
  11. WOW that sucks, is there any way we could help maybe set up a fund of some sort to help him out financially, that you could send him money or what ever he needs to help him out. PAP!!!
  12. Where are the pics. Man your killing me with anticipation!! We need a visual!!
  13. Thanks for the link, I registered twice, I fished the guan or how ever you say it, had fantastic trip eyes up the arsh, but it is huge we didn't touch 1/5 of the waters, because we didn't have to. It was the most dirt road I ever drove. It's only 115 miles on Clova road to Mary's Lake and O'sullivan Lake & lodge.
  14. Hopefully you right, could of been explained a little better.
  15. .
  16. I don't know why it won't load to the site, but if you go to google it does I give up. Just type in yakima baits and it will come up, down load there catalog they have some great stuff for eye fisherman. PAP.
  17. What the f is a educated rod and why would you spend over 1 Ben Franklin for it??
  18. Are you towing up or just going River fishing, next week only in the low 20's for a high down here!!! Damn it anyway. February and March are the 2 toughest months, I remember a few years ago it gave a heavy wet snow and a lot of Bimini tops got smashed down with the weight of the snow.
  19. Yea, I jump on their boat, I F'up a prop there loading there once and it's just easier going with them, at 70mph with David's boat in 10 minutes wer're there. Plus I can't trim up enough, if there was a 12# eye in there I might opt to be a little more adventurous, but for a bass??? naaa. lol. Stay warm my freind springs a comming!!!

  21. I'm from eastern PA the Pocono's area, we have a camp in the Black River Campground, I know there are spots available in there, we trailer to Henderson it's a nice launch in the bay there is good perch fishing and northerns and early the smallies are in as the year goes on the large mouth are in. It's about a 10-15 minute ride and your out in Henderson and Stoney and a short ride to Stoney Point were there is good brown trout and walleye fishing, on good day you could fish the wall or head over to Stoney and Gull island good smallies. If it's real nasty you can fish the Black River it has a lot of different species, one nice thing is you can go above the dam where there is good eye fishing, lots of shorts but some nice 18"ers smallies till your sick of taking them off, you need to go above the gorge which is a beautiful sight in its self to Brownville to the riffles. I have twin daughters and the can spen the day there. You also have the option to trailer over to Chaumont bay, my uncles spend days over there as they are bass guys, they fish the weeds from the bridge to the big open waters with your boat Chaumont is big and you would be able to get in many places I can't but they do as they have a bass boat and a 16ft aluminum with a 50 Merc and trolling motors, you could also fish Sackets harbor also. There are many options in this area but I know the guys from the oak area and around there have shorter runs to deeper water for the lakers and kings. Lakers are in the Henderson area all year but it gets pretty snotty there but you can retreat to the bay very quickly as you could get through the cut under a bridge and your safe, behind the break walls in the bay which is nice I have used that route a few times when I had my 18fter. It's your decision do so research and decide from there. Good luck, PAP?
  22. Do you still have the releases?
  23. Does anyone on here have any experiance with the flat fish. I have had used them before but this year they came out with a Mag Lip 2.5. Naturally they are 2 1/2" it only dives to 8ft, with some great looking color, these baits were designed after a lot of walleye, trout, and steelhead guys got them to make a smaller bait. I saw today that Mark and Jake and a charter capt. Gave them a whirl on one of the western Great Lakes, they were catching brownies and kings and smallmouth, and eyes with the same size lures they ran 8 rods, and they kept mentioning that the were fishing the stained warmer waters. Go on to the Yakima site and you can download their color catalog. They carry a boat load of stuff with how to rig the bait and how to improve the lure buy adding different items to spinner rigs ect. Yakima also carries Rooster tails that they took to a new level, spin-n-glo, they also did wonders such colors the wings are prism, some are color and a new thing black not to mention size from a 1/4" to 1 1/2". Flat fish and Worden's Rooster Tails of every size and shape. If you get a chance down load their catalog. The one on the right is the whole catalog the one on the left is the new for 2016.
  24. I heard via. through the grape vine pro bass doesn't carry tracker anymore, I don't know who they picked up? Ranger maybe? I can't remember. This could be one of the reasons!
