I had the same issue a few years ago, after measuring around everything checked out my uncle noticed that my spring bushings in the front where the bolt goes through were shot. Took off the springs and rebushed the springs and 4 new tires later everything is good now. "BEFORE HAND" put new tires on and towed out to Erie they were so wore we flipped them to come home, that's how we knew something was very wrong, and we couldn't figure out why they wore so bad until Bill noticed the bushings were shot. 1993 trailer must have dry rotted or something. Check that out! PAP
Congrats on your day, good to hear a positive post, and if the weather was anything like I saw it was from the weather channel here in Pa. You definitely earned every fish you caught!!
The last pic. Is priceless, totally exhausted!!!, my girls are 10 now and are really into it, it become competitive, so dad has to pick out which ever is working and put the same lure on or else it not fair. But it's all good, like you said till their teenagers, till then there's no feeling in the world when they think dad is just awsome. Good luck to you and your new partner!!
Awsome job Carl, it's been one hell of a winter!! On that note it's great to see a fish being caught on regular gear, no tip ups, tip downs, tip sideways. LOL best of luck to you in the new season!!!
Is it legal to use a green light submerged and a drop net, that's how we get the alewives on our local lake after a hour of that light in the water it right infested with them, I pull the net up like hell and there's usually 20-30 fish in the net, like posted above you need a round container or they kill themselves, we even use a bilge pump with 50ft of hose so we pull the colder water up to fill our round container which I made out of a 20 gallon drum, it was a Coke syrup container and a aerator, I put a drain near the bottom so we can add more cold water otherwise they die.
Gotcha, I know my girls would go nuts seeing that many fish, they go crazy when we stock the pond and they go along when me and a few others float stock our gun club stream, from our own hatchery and they are on the feeding schedule. They think they are the big cheese!! Best of luck Tim!!
Do you separate them or how do you go about it being two different arrival times, I wish it weren't so far I'd like very much to be a part of this but it's 250 miles to our camp " Black River" and you guys are way more west yet. It took like 6hrs to get to Niagara Falls. Good luck guys it only means spring like weather is on its way!!!!
What are tip downs, are they the ones that work the opposite way, or is this just the new ice fishing lingo? I'm not trying to be a smart a$$ just curious? For the last 100 years they were tip ups?
