    This is a great thread, I love to see those big horns, and you guys in Ny. State have the best hunting ethics ever in my book!! Just the other day I was coming down the Hypsie Gap road which is a dirt road we’re you can see way down in the valleys or along way up the side. I was following this truck and I was looking for yote tracks well before I knew it I almost rear ended this truck if it weren’t for the front sensors giving me heads up as mine was looking down anyway this guy gets out of his truck and runs down this valley and comes back up with this huge horn!! I’d say those boys knew what they were doing, and this wasn’t there first rodeo!!!! I was in awe with the size of the horns. Cool stuff!!.

    I use Createx and a sister company Wicked colors, they are water base but if you mix like 4020 I think is the number it’s a fast drying plus thins some of the opage colors of if painting a nonpourousss you should put a coating of Auto Borne base on before continuing painting and I agree with the above post on the invirotex two part epoxy and paint it on give a shine, and brings out the true colors!!

    I personally don't thinks so, my boards are similar to the amish boards but I made mine out of cedar and didn't treat them so they soak up the water which makes them ride deeper in the water which makes them more stable and pull like a mule. I pull 10 color cores and multi other things off the same board, even in 2-3ft+ waves I've never had a bad experience.

    gottcha, if your not in a hurry, I'm going to be relining reels soon, I think I might have new Okuma's I the box, not sure size but will look quick to see what size they are, I bought a boat load of stuff not sure whats there. I'll look quick to see what they are, be back in a minute.

    Your job looks top notch plus it is top notch, you've done a class A job!! that boat will serve you and your after Boaters LOL, very well. I pushed this prodject off for this year hoping to find a good deal on a 21-24' aluminum boat with a outboard, missing this brown trout fishing is killing me. great job!!

    351 probably? In the Cleveland or possibly in the Windsor. Would be sweet to see it in the Windsor model!! They might have been in the earlier models.

    They breed like rats, and before you know it they have your landscape totally ruined, with holes in the ground that will break the legs of anything walking through the area whether your on horseback or your children are playing in your back yard, to deer passing through. They are a menace and there’s no way in hell you can kill them all. If they moved in on your property, all the tree huggers would be the first to bytch about them. They are the locusts of the everyday, they eat everything in sight.

    Just google big farms in that area, they will be glad to rid a few of those ankle busters out of the farmers field. Maybe the strictly grain farmers would be iffy, if they have anything on 4 legs I’m sure they’d be happy for your service!!

    We were thinking about mounting the transducer to a rod with a piece of flat stock welded to the bottom to mount the ducer and slide it into the next size pipe with a locking device onto it this way wile fishing we could drop the ducer below the bottom and not interfere with the kicker. We don’t have electric trim on my kicker. Others have where you can trim it manually but my kicker is either all the way up or all the way down. We are putting the cart before the horse kinda saying, as we haven’t decided on a unit but the hummingbird seems to have way more YA’s than NA’s.

    Well I’m not that tech savvy so I thought it was me, but I guess not, mine comes up but no way to navigate the site, everything I do brings me back to the LOU app page, if I type in New Content sometimes it goes to new content but after that page it returns to the app page, I gave up on it?? I go to google and say Lake Ontario United it comes up to app or Othet click other which is this site and no problems!! very frustrating to say the least.

    Yes I do agree with ya, but the point is not to treat them if their made out of cedar, so they soak up water and run deeper in the water, this makes them pull hard and no need to add weight on the outside board so in 3+foot waves their not so prone to flip over. I’ve found it’s much easier to tap a cold one at camp than get beat up on LakeO!!!
