    Man it’s blowing like all hell down here, let alone hoofing through at least 2’of snow. Later next weekend supposed to be in the mid 50’s so they say, just watched the news and we could get hit by another storm, man I’m so ready for spring!!!

    I have mine laying with the back of the motor on the floor and the cavitation plate on the floor, no oil leaked out. Egoody is right there are stickers saying lay motor this side down. My motor is a merc 15hp 2014

    I don’t think it’s legal to use gobies for bait, or any other bait for the reason you won’t have that slip that says it’s approved bait. I’m almost positive that gobies are illegal for bait. I think that’s about the dumbest thing. Who would care if you used them for bait other than the boys in green.

    Don’t hang the motor on, put it on when you get up there, fished the back lakes of Canada for 30+ years. Busted a axle up there once went down to Mankiwaki and bought a new axle went back and bolted it back under and home we came!!

    Came home from my first time out of the house this week sick as F’kn dog all week, finally feel better the bird feeder been empty since Wednesday only to see the whole front lawn full of robins, those are the first I saw this year. Now if this next storm goes out to sea and everyone’s power gets restored it might be getting to that time of the year, oh I pushed 8-10”s of snow off my boat covers first.

    Hell soon it will be cheaper to make them out of tungsten. This lead going up and up is bullshyt. Used to be the cheapest resource out there. Gettin harder and harder to accept a loss of a rigger weight. Almost on the same line of a probe anymore for cripe sake..     Mine is the swim platform one, Hank it’s covered over now and a foot of snow I have to remove anyway, I’ll have to uncover to take pic. It’s also the heavy duty one , as I have a 2015 15hp merc. 4 stroke. I also put 2 more brackets under.

    Sometimes there not into a slow action, then I pump up the speed and use shallow divers and either get a reaction bite or that’s what their looking for. Switching out colors shapes and sizes till I get something going on. Still if not getting bit I’ll slide out a little deeper and give that a go. I took way more eyes of lures than harnesses, but they can be leathal right after the spawn, for sure, so I don’t leave the dock without them.

    Ha Ha, yea buddy that one hell of a way to rid the mange. Holy hell you guys have less snow than we do, all winter it hardly snowed, now I’m ready to hunt and one friggen snow storm after another. Wouldn’t be bad but at nigh the temp falls and the snow gets crunchy. I always used a cover scents on our hunts, I used to use pure skunk as a cover scent I’d use a Qtip and and a cloth pin to hold it to a branch. I bought this Code Blue coyote mist, and I think it works, so I remembered there was a guy on here that advertised scents called Kishels scents and he had the same scents, saying it was pure male scent, makes them think other dogs are invading their turf. I was thinking to spray that on my decoy spinner that should permeate the air 50-75 yards beyond me yet, gonna give it a whirl on the next outing.

    I bought the same trees from the same guy, I like them, are there advantages to adjustables absolutely, but not enough to offset the price in my book. You can turn the tree so your rods point in any direction you want. I also have have rod holders that are adjustable on the boat rails, so I find myself using the gunnel rod holder for the inside rod the bottom holder on the tree and the top holder on the tree, this makes for more than sufficient space for the lines.

    Whatever you do listen to the rehab ladies and men, and be faithful with the rehab. I was basically in two pieces just my outer skin and spinal cord holding me together all else was crushed, they rebuilt my spine, put my guts back in place and taught me to walk again after 2 10hrs surgeries and 1 5hrs surgery, the rehab was hard, somewhat painful, I kept telling myself no pain no gain. The rehab I can’t stress how important that is and it will “Dictate” what or how you will be able to go or do. There will be days that you feel you can’t go another step, force yourself to take that step. The therapist told my wife to bring my twin daughters along and put them at the end of whatever challenge I had to overcome that day, it works wonders when you can see what your working for. Keep your head up and never say never, with the new science today the sky is the limit!!! Good luck take care!! Pm me if ever need just to talk, seriously!!! PAP.

    Yes I do believe you but after my accident and 3 back surgeries later to get me walking again I just can’t do what I used to. Pisses me off to no end, but I just have to accept that I just can’t do it like I used to. Floor and transom all good? Now you got me thinking.

    Todd what color beads do you need, I have more than I’ll use in my lifetime. I use 6mm faceted. I’ll send you a pic of my selection and I’ll give you a bunch to get started. For hooks I use the size 4 octopus hooks, I have different versions of the slow death hooks, there’s 3 or 4 different versions I’ll pm you this tomorrow!! PAP

    What year is that beauty, and I would assume 5.7. I have that boat in the 21.6ft I call it a 22fter. I don’t know how they measure but my Stanley reads 22+ anyway I love the platform, just wish I had a foot or two more room in the work area. 22ft is hard enough to load & unload by myself
