  7. Thanks Mud Flat, there was a thread like this a few years ago, if my memory serves me ya right, there was quite a few that mentioned his name.
  8. That's great guys congrats on a great hunt!! Lots to do quickly in these temps!! This is crazy weather, don't seem bother the birds
  9. Thanks I'll look that up
  10. X2 even if I have to tow up a few weeks before the season next year!!
  11. Holy Sheep Shyt Baker, that's a fish of a lifetime for sure!! Congrats to your catch!!!
  12. Sweet man, Sweet!! Nice size eyes!! Now I'm really jealous
  13. Those kicker throttle controls are for 4 stroke engines only, unless that's what you have already. You'd have to look up control King.
  14. Yea, I hear you all, I never ran anything other than big boards, BUT, I've been on boats this year that ran the inlines, and those boards performed (so I think) better as far as catch rate. I'm talking eyes, the guys I went with this year were productive in catching running the same lures, the same speed. NOW! they also ran a temp probe, which I just put on my boat this year. THIS is the part I have a hard time wrapping my brain ya, anyway I was taught you have to have boards that pull hard and way out so you can run your spread from shallow to deep or vise versa, and all this crap shouldn't lag to far past the transom. HMMM! Now these little boards lag way behind then your 100-150+ behind the boat, So to me I think the little set up is more stealthy, for better words? I think it looks like a cluster Fuk coming on behind!! If it works I really don't care what it looks like. One other thing I noticed with the small boards, you put on a deep diver the dives say 18ft deep with 120feet out, so let out a 120ft line, then clip it to the board, now page out the board another 100ft out, that lure is set at the water level!! You can't do that with a big board!! Yes you can page out 120ft of line but you clip it to a line that's no further than the stern of the boat and 3-4ft out of the water. I'm just using these number as referance #'s only, but is this why the guys run inlines?? Thanks for any input!! PAP.
  15. Yea Sean I'll take them, I want to compare the inlines to the big boards. Most of the successful guy use the inline boards. I want to see what's the different is. Or maybe someone can explain it?? I still want to see for myself. Off Shore has come out with a adjustable tattle tale flag. For pulling lead cores or deep divers or for bigger fish.
  16. OFF Shore Planer boards. Does anyone have a set of Off Shore Planer Boards, the regular size for sale, doesn't need to be A1 condition, flag broke no releases ext. but would prefer the board it's self in good shape. If need be Pm. me or post here. Thanks. PAP.
  17. Excellent job Killer, nice job on the eyes, it's only going to get better from here on in till ice over!!
  18. Yes now it's perfect, and like mentioned above congrats to your day!! That's Mucho great plenty pepper sticks!!! thanks for posting, keep up the good job. One thing I'd like to ask, that must get pretty expensive after awhile-- as steel shot is pretty $$$$ or am I thinking of turkey loads?? Thanks!!! PAP.
  19. I can't get it Kevin, but Prof.T's pic. Is fine other than its upside down. That used to happen to me using a iPad. So I take the pics with the iPad with the on /off button on the right instead of the left. So in a sense it's 180* turned or yea it's upside down so most pics come out right side up.
  20. Oh yea, your right what do I know!!! It's connected to the I/O, maybe the kicker should be even with that in the lowest position?? I wonder if they make 35" kicker
  21. , yea your right, at least the big foot theory would be resolved!!! LOL.
  22. Yea Fishnut that seems to be the got to way to eat those things, my brother in law and cousins shoot the $hit out of them around here. They had a farms actually call them, because the turned their ponds are grey water contaminated and killed the fish and some of the ponds over flow into the streams, which the DCNR is on farmers to not let this grey water get into these streams or they will be held accountable for what happens!!! For every 2 birds you shoot 3 more move in. Your freind Mike.
  23. I don't beleive it has to be below the bottom of the boat, mine isn't and it works great!!, as long as it doesn't cavitate your good to go, it's not going to improve the speed enough to make a difference. PAP
  24. WOW big-easy that's what I pay for a 6 month plan!! Guess I'll be shopping around!! Thanks for posting this thread!!
  25. You mean that it cavitats or you feel it should be below the bottom of the boat. OOH is that line on your kicker all the further it's in the water, mine sits in the water up to the lower pivot pin. Your platform sits like 10-12" above the water? Second thought, maybe remove that piece of platform that holds your motor and put a out and down adjustable kicker bracket on. Cheaper than a motor and not to involved that one can install buy yourself!!! I think Garlick is the name, not positive on spelling. PAP. I have-had the excact same motor other than it was a 15hp 20" Evinrude. That platform must have been a after thought, swim platforms shouldn't be that high, how would get on if it were to be used as such. I've never seen a platform more than a few inches above the water.
