    Fish were rolling up by the Dexter bridge yesterday, quite a few also, not 1 boat on the water, including mine, brought it home yesterday so I can finish out the season around home.

    Yes the Chamberlain releases are neat, but what if you go over a reverse magnetic field, and all your rods release at once, and now you can't reverse the there polarity??

    Todd I have a swim platform bracket, rated for way more lbs and I've used a 20" kicker for years!! Something isn't making sense to me?? Let me in on why you need a 25" as they are usually for Rag Boats???

    Yea they troll at 4mph, I looked up Pacific salmon trolling speed 3.5 knots?? UUUUGGG 3.5knots to mph=4mph.

    Yes I second that, thanks for the detailed post, and what you had happen with the autopilot and luckily you retrieved your probes, that would have never happened like your experience!! Everything would have gone to the bottom of the drink for me > < Like mentioned above is a lot of $$$ for a weekend warrior, but if you and afford it, then by all means I do believe it will shorten your learning curve. IMO only this isn't for the average Joe.

    Yes they are sweet!! I'm still stuck on the Garmin or Hummingbirds, not only are these units great in their own manner, my personal belief is they are the ones sophisticated enough to run the gps units with all the bells & whistles. From what I read I found a TR1Gold auto-pilot for kickers and my Lowrance HDI units won't work with these auto pilot units, unless these companies work hand in hand??

    WOW Les, that is a sweet looking ride for sure, with all that stability to back the looks up!! Ohh yea the boat I was talking about!!! Seriously though I has a 18ft Troller, that company was near I'm pretty sure made in and for the sole purpose of fishing eyes on Lake Erie. That was one of the most easy to steer, handle. If a wave came over the front it ran right out the back. I should of had my head examined for ever selling that boat!! Best of luck with your ride, oh yea also it came with a Johnson or Evinrude 1988/88SPL Hp. outboard motor, that worked flawlessly for a 2 stroke. Only thing that motor ever needed was a coil pack & and a head gasket, which was easy to fix ourselve, and both items happened up on LakeO, and parts were bought from a huge marinea up near the TGI bridge.

    Well my boats home for the season but there was a positive!! I got to meet little crappie, nice guy!!! He even delivered the long rod up to our camp!! Service with a smile. We talked fishing this and that and he needed to go and I needed to complete my routine for the 250 mile trek back to Pa. Thanks Crappie, that was very nice of you!! Your Freind, PAP.

    Thanks kindly guys!! I lost my mom, my dad, my brother, my mother in law, and now my father in law has it, all in the last 5 years!! Not looking for sympathy, just saying, been a bumpy road lately,. GO, Get em Guys!!! Have a beer on me!!LOL.

    Skinny420 thanks you for the kind words!! I know a lot of out of state boats have left a sour taste in the locals mouth. I feel for the most of us we try to leave your state a little cleaner then when we got there. I know for one incident on my boat a guy tore that clear peice off the top of his cigarette pack and it flew overboard, luckily I took my meds. that morning and we just were in the process of lowering a rigger, I pulled it to the surface reeled in rod circled around and said somebody grab that net and scoop up that trash you threw overboard!! They did, and they knew I was pi$$ed. No more of that shyt, how'd you like if I spit my chew on the floor of your truck!! There's boats all around us don't you think one of those NY boats saw your dumbness!!! It was quiet for awhile till Brad said sorry PAP. Then our day was good and so was the fishing!!     Man this is awesome I wish to all a good & happy day, it sounds to me like a fun filled day!! I'm sure it will be a success, as Justin from Otisco did something simular and the guys that went had nothing but good words afterwards. Meeting you guys would mean more than the $$$. My father in law is down in Fox Chase Cancer Center in Philidelphia. I must pick him up and I with be his chauffeur at the drop of a dime till we find out that things are starting to synchronize into a pattern, and he gets healthy again. Best of luck guys really wish I could be there PAP

    You sure got that right!! I wish I lived closer to good eye fishing. Sucks to have to drive 4 1/2hrs to catch a decent eye. There are lakes closer but till those knot heads with those pwc get done stirring up the whole damn lake it's only a month or 2 till ice over. Nice chat hook&cook!!
