    Oh,, yea!! You have a Ford pan on. To bad you have that style pan on, Or your dilemma would be a much easier fix. I'm a ford fan when it comes to pickup trucks, but yes that was one of fords better ideas. LOL. As far as I know the only fix'en is put a automotive pan on with a drain plug in it. Unless you can drop the pan and can get at it to clean it out good, then you would have some options??

    I put a fitting in my pan that has a 3/8 o.d. Hose fitting, in it I put a ball fitting in that accepts the same size hose on the other side which I then I have a hose that is coiled up that I put through the drain plug hole and the oil drains out of the bildge area to a container. One thing though I did this in the fall of the year, after the season, and being frustrated with all the other ways that failed my expectations. It's a SOB of a job, but it's a walk in the grass afterwards.

    I can personally agree with Les as I have my own 10# mold to make pancake weights, I messed with all kinds of tail designs, with minimal improvement!! I bought a set of TroutMans 12# torpedos and have never looked back!! Actually I sold the mold to a guy who was going to use the weight mold for lawn tractor pulling weightsLOL.

    Beautiful fish!! Now we're talking about a nice King. A good friend of mine earlier this week their boat landed a 38# King!! I haven't seen or heard of kings above the 30# plus fish like this one and Gene Bolten Sunken Treasures boat in many years!! Hopefully this is a good sign to come!! Congrats to your catch!! and thanks for the pics... !!!

    Thanks for the encouraging words guys if it pushes a fiberglass Trophy then it will definitely do the job. Les I know you told me before you don't use a steering rod, but could you explain to me again how you do it??. I just looked at where the unit is $hyt that's a 5 hrs ride. Right now my life doesn't give me that kind of time, until I find out more about a family medical situation!! If it hangs around that long all is good, but right now I can't do it. Mother of pearls anyway!!!

    Guys would you think this would push my 22ft Sea Ray Cuddy, she's a tank!! I mainly fish eyes, but also chase silvers so it would need to push 2.3-2.6 and maybe due to currents up to 3mph, but I fish with the waves. My old 15hp Evinrude does the job. But now I hav her in peices and it's getting time to retire the old ****.

    That's par for the course, kinda like the first day of rifle season a couple of shots heard and they all run for the developments!! Hunt your a$$ of all day then take a ride through the developments and you need to drive in self defense or they'll run into your vehicle. LOL! They will not come out till the flintlock season.

    About how many lures could it hold, I'm just below Scranton and could pick it up. This would eliminate many tackle boxes. I use a lot of deep divers with a large bill but I don't think their no 8" long, thanks for any info.

    Beautiful boat, woodwork is amazing!! I went through as what you are, same deal, married, house, twin girls, just didn't have the time for it. Well since then I've bought 3 other boats, none ever worked like dads boat!! Know I'm kicking myself in the a$$ kids love to go fishing, if only I would have kept that boat, never gave me any problems, unlike the 3 I bought and sold. Just saying!! If there's any chance you might take up fishing again, I'd think twice about selling dads boat. Just some info that I would like to pass on. You know what you have now, but your next purchase you will be taking the words of others, even if you get a surveyer. Stick the boat in a shelter and ride

    Does the unit have GPS and down scan and what chips does it require. Navionics premium or platinum. You mentioned skimmer ducer, is that the ducer that operates all the functions? You mentioned power wire but what about ducer wire, mine was like molded together,, just curious. Also interested!!!

    I just installed a 4XD on my boat and I have a Elite 7 HDI. The instructions read that the 50-200-455 units interfere with the hawk and those should be mounted one the opposite side of the transome. Plus backing off on the intensity of the of the 50 or the 83 will reduce the interference. My unit is a 83-200-455, so I opted to the opposite side just to be safe. I also called fish hawk about this interference mode and the man told me I shouldn't have any problems. I didn't get a chance to try it out because I got a phone call saying I needed to cut my trip short due to a family emergency!! So it will have to wait till I know what's going on for sure with my Father in law... I wish I could of tried it out . But it's installed and hopefully that the last prodject I need to do!! LOL, till they come out with another must have item. LOL I wish you the best of luck with your new unit also!! PAP

    Yes, very nice fish!!! Headed out tomorrow, weather permitting, I hope all this goes to the south and north of us. 3 days we worked on stuff that needed to be done. Got boat for use tomorrow!! Hope we can as good as the above post. Congrats to your catch. PAP!!

    Lately I've been noticing that the newer posters trying to sell stuff got this PM me for details going on Hmmm, why is this. Why can't these folks post a pic. and a price?? It's simple to post pics. Personally I'm not calling anyone for a picture or a price, what's there to hide?? Or is it just to much trouble I'm not singling this poster out, just see this turning into a on going trend. All the posts being asked could be answered with a simple price and pic. of the whole rod, then say I have X amount of rods. Not being an azz guy's.

    Man that's is a tough one for sure!! I know how much family means, especially when separated by hours. You got our families prayers for sure. I know it's long distance but technology can keep you "closer" in mind. Best of luck David to you and your wife.

    Water temps in Henderson ??? Just wondering if anyone has fished Henderson Harbor since the storm, and what has the water temp been. Has it changed? coming up Wednesday just need a heads up. Thanks for any info!! PAP

    AAAHH man I was wondering what the hell this storm was going to bring about, meaning water temp. Everything was starting to setup and give us a good couple of weeks, before the Kings start to stage. Even for the fall bite where your at for the eyes. I hope you find better water with active fish.     Thanks ghostrider, I know the base will work as fishnut even pressure tested these bases as he made them and quickly determined that the first one was not durable enough, so added more fibers to the program plus added a different design that passed the pressure tests that he done by a landslide!!! and the mount itself is well designed and I very happy to be on the way to mounting these riggers. They are a very smooth operating units. Unlike the mag20's I have to run the 16# torpedos. I was told they will lift that amount of weight. Thanks for the encouraging words.. PAP.

    Yea buddy that is a sharp looking mount!! Plus the driftwood really adds to the bass type environment...
