  1. Being in the starter & alt Buisness for well over 20 years, your battery is fine. At rest a battery will settle in at 12.3 volts depending on the amperage or the settings on your charger it will put in as little as 12.6 this would be a 2 amp setting all the way up to 16 volts this would be start engine position. Farm and marine "older types" regulators were set at 13.8 this was for continuous use long running times with little draw. Then as we decided to add more goodies the auto companies went to 14.2 and ford stayed at just under 15volts where at 15.2 volts or higher will boil the acid in the batteries causing a rotten egg smell. I'm willing to bet that A you forgot to hook the ground wire that activates the fuse panel along with the ground to the block. Or the Perko switch has a bad connection from battery (A or B). I've just helped a fellow that ran a wire from one ground to the other ground on the other battery and only used one wire to the block. So he series the grounds, with a cable with holes in each end, then 1 wire to the block, now when he starts the motor the solinoid on the starter ratchets the pulls in. This never happened before? I took a peak at his set up, right away I noticed he didn't isolate the grounds, did that works fine!! So a bad ground is as bad sometimes worse than bad connection. Because a bad ground will generate heat, where a bad connection will be a intermitting problem or in your case nothing happens. I've heard of stories that the Perko switches do fail sometimes, but most of the time it's human error. When winterize time comes a simple zip tie will do the trick all the wires that get grounded get chicken banded in black and the positive side gets chicken banded with a white tie or peice of tape marked + or -- your not the first to do this I'm guilty of it myself till I learned the no-brainer method..!! Hope this helps. PAP,
  2. OOH, well in that I'll just tip my hat to the clowns!! My wife tells me I'm to Nieve, and I was born 70 years to late..

  8. Can't wait to hear about this, I can't even believe that one of those knot heads would even think that this isn't top priority!!! Cruise ships can navigate through the skinniest of waters, why can't the barges. I personally like the idea of detaching the shipping channel from the direct route from the lake via a lock system of such. Yes it's millions of dollars but add up the annual income to Ohio and Pennsylvania, also New York "State" and in a short time the fishing industry will surpass the shipping costs via the new design of detaching it from a direct path from the lakes. Nets, electric, or other means of keeping these fish out of the lake system seem much easier and with harsher methods to make sure this doesn't happen? Just my $.02
  9. What do you do with them? Just a sport fish? The creek chubs we catch in the streams close to our home lake they get 8-12" then we use them for stripers in Beltzville Lake.

  14. I agree, he's a community asset pays big taxes, so we can't strip him of his money making ways or the county looses their $$$$ so the old saying that still stands true "it's not who you know it's who you b--w" still stand true to this very day.
  15. This seems pretty light for the guide himself who taught hundreds of people it's OK to hunt over a pond that grows its own corn kernels.. LOL!
  16. If you go on Navionics web sit look up their fishing hot spots map that will give you a good idea you can blow the map up to see depth numbers and other shoals.

  18. I just can't believe the balls these people have. Hell even up to the day my dad passed away, my brother and I weren't worried about the cops, 40 years ago they drove you home if you got caught driving with beer in the car but under age, it was the thrashing you were gonna get from POP... LOL . I guess those days are over, my kids walk the line and only talked back to their mother once!! But yea, I'm the mean old man, my daughters are my life and they respect others and their property, but some of their freinds WOW!!! If they'd talk to me like they do their parents things would be different under our roof

  20. Man O Man I can't believe the dumb F¥{ks were bold enough to put it on EBay yet!! I had a gun 45/70 stolen out of my truck in my own driveway, they found the crook and the guy who bought my rifle and I got my rifle back, and don't give a shyt about the $$$ the buyer was out of get yer money back from the crook you bought it from. This was an actual conversation with the buyer!! The cops told me the next time he calls you record it and we will arrest him for harassment..!!! I'm so happy you connected this quick, just shows you they were getting to comfortable at this game. I wish you the best Mike, from one Mike to the other congrats on the quick snag and hopefully the rest of your goods are found!! By all means release the names of this scumbag outfit.

  24. X2 to Odgensburg!! Much smaller complex, fewer young lad's trying to make a name for themselves. We had trouble getting back to the U.S. Because the young buck didn't know the allotment of fish is different in Quebec Province than the Ottawa Province, plus the lodge limit was 2 fish less then the Provincial limit, they had to get in touch with a Quebec fish and game officials only to be correct with our fish limit, while it took 3hrs to figure this tough question out!!!
