Congrats to your trip!! Canada is the greatest place in the northern hemisphere for quality and quantity of eyes. I've been fishing Canada for 40 years and have watched the great fishing in Manawaki move north as the loggers made roads to lakes that were fly in only lakes to drivable lakes. Which also was the downfall of many lakes. I also disagree with people bringing there own boats, for one reason only if you made the wrong call on the wind for the evening bite you were screwed because with the smaller engines you didn't have time to correct yourself. Now people bring there own boats and can fly all over the lake. I'm not knocking big resivores to bring your own boat, but guys were hovering the lakes dry. The best thing they ever did was implement a slot limit. This is bringing the fishing back, to what it was? Never will it be the same as the late 70's -- early 80's!!! Since the border crossing even before 911 I've had 3 terrible experiences that were totally uncalled for, 3 guys in their 70's and me in my mid 30's, the ways these guys got thrown around by these young punks was a disgrace!! These men were American Vets. and they found nothing on us other than I had 1 sleeve of chew to many and I paid the $60 some dollars in tax. One of those guys was my father, Korean combat Veteran. I'll keep my money in the states. That's me, and like mentioned before it is the walleye capital of the world and every walleye angler should have at least 1 experience in their time on a Canadian walleye lake. Again congrats to your magnificent trip!! Yes I know how hard it is to put a 30"---36" walleye back, but now they have cell phones for pics and replica's available, quick measurements plus photo and they can reproduce that fish right down to the tiniest detail. Yea, I'll give ya hell of a deal on them!! I have more riggers and booms than one could ever use!! I'm a fishing bargain junkie!! LOL can't pass up a good deal!!

Hey Stone if you buy those riggers and find the booms are to short I have a set of 5fters that will fit same diameter in excellent condition. Just saying. Pap.

Congrats to you!!, I got back from my vacation and the first thing I did was check the situation out!! Thank goodness it got sold whole. I had the cash in hand but I was hesitant to send the money not seeing the boat. But it all worked out for you and the boat lives to see many more days of service!!! It's a bittersweet feeling for me. But I feel very happy for you and the new owners!!

I think the Atlantics are the most beautiful fish in the lake!! No mistake in identifying a thing of beauty for me!!

I've never heard of that?? I've ran mine for years with just the regular hose and primer bulb, you have an Evenrude and so do I don't you have to crack the breather valve on your tank. I do so it doesn't suck the tank together. I don't understand the function of this new line??

Please don't part this boat out!! i have a 18ft Larson 3.0 I/0 willing to sell for same price the boat is in the 90's with a trailer in excellent condition, floor just refinished, stringers are in excellent shape, I'll even throw in the bow mount trolling motor, like new new also with big foot control, oh trailer has surge brakes I just rebuilt. If any interest I will put up pics. But it will be in 10 day, as I'm leaving for a family vac. Thanks guys PAP.

Yea Todd that's exactly what I did the I zip tied the hose long the back so they wouldn't be able to swim around!! I can troll a whole day with my 15hp 2 stroker then I just mix fuel in a 5 gallon jug to refill when needed. Works for me.

Well that's good news for ya, at lest there should be a person out there looking for your chip. I had a HB 727 still on the back for depth and fish then I jumped through the rest of the 80's and 90's into the mid 2013-14 so I didn't really go through the early chip era.

OO'Man that sucks, why they switch things up other than you have buy more stuff!! Is beyond me, what unit did your chip come out of, I had Lowrance's products much of my fishing, boating past. The first chip unit I ever had to buy a chip for was Elite 7hdi, that was nothing but a headache from the start and I just had and a updat installed a few week ago.

There's no micro chip in the bottom of the bigger size chip? Is that the chip itself it looks like there's a little slot where the chip would be??
