  1. BOY O BOY, I would have bet a months worth of pay checks that would of never flew!! Maybe insurance companies pushing the deal!! Millions and Millions of dollars are be turned and being turned into people's insurance companies. We all know how the ins. Co. Get what they want. Just take a look at the 3 major car ins. Co did to the deer population in Pa. NO doubt they trumped the shipping industry??
  2. Why doent that surprise me
  3. Both axcels cracked, meaning double axcel trailer both broke on the same side or single axcel trailer cracked on both sides??
  4. Yea buddy Brian is a good man!! I jumped at the bit when he started his laker rigs, he gave me first crack at the bat when he finally got all his ducks in a row!! Lord child I have laker rigs!! I can't wait to try them out this year. If Mother Nature would get her act together. Supposed to get up in the 80's in temp this week, but the long range forecast is to be below average temps with more rain then normal
  5. WOW, man this is going to rais havoc on property owners big time!! If a over night of 20mph does this much damage, I can't even fathom what a week of winds would do. By Lord thats scary shyt for those land owners. Also this is going to put a big emphasis on the no-wake, if the law doesn't slow those boater down, or everyone doesn't practice this new law. I personally don't think they'll close the lake to all boaters, just because fishing is a multi billion dollar industry. But so is replacing people's yards through insurance companies, which I feel dictate a lot of what goes on in this country!!
  6. Nice fram of mind, not many look through your frame of mind, $20.00 is pretty cheap ride to be under the wing of a motivated Capt. Such as you. Great job King, congrats to your check!!!
  7. Man that's a beauty!! Interior is immaculate!! That baby will sell great price also!! Good luck on your sales!!
  8. Yea I made the light grid one, holds over two hundred spoons. Works sweet. The Revolution spoons fit good but you need to have a special area on the the account of the way the hooks designed. I will make make room for those spoons reguardles!!

    Walleye mount

Well that's good to know, I'm going to try my luck at this season, if I don't catch one bigger that 32" and 12 3/4# but that one come out of Canada, on a fly in trip. I'll get my old one redone.
  10. Hey there buddy, what is that blue stuff in the background and why is it so bright there?? I'm beginning to to think that this rain is liquid sunshine . Congrats to you and I assume the young man there is having as good of time as you!! Great to see you on the water, with a very nice striper!! Your friend PAP
  11. With controls, does this mean it has a tilt system?
  12. Congrats S K to your day and catch!! Your king is I believe is the second or third to hit the LOU site, either way nice fish!! I bet the was like reeling in a tuna with both those bad ass fish on the same line
  13. That's amazing Kevin, when we went out to the western basin of Erie about 1/2 way through our trip there was the hugest mayfly hatch I ever saw of any type hatch, the next day it looked like it snowed. We were doing crazy good with the eyes till the mayfly hatch you couldn't buy a hit. Out there they have a Mayfly rig or a weight foreward rig shy of a 1/2 stick of dynamite you weren't getting bit. The locals said it will be a week or better till there ready to feed again. So I don't doubt they were full of flys. Either way damn good job.

    Walleye mount

That is freaken awesome, like BS. stated the fine definition is amazing!! If I didn't know any better I would have assumed it was alive!!. I had one mounted in the late 80's at that time there wasn't any replicas period!! I hated the idea of having to take this huge feamale out of the lake. Would there be a way to do a replica of what I have?
  15. Congrats Zinger!! That's surly going to set fire under the asses of many guys!! Like the above post I can't wait for this nightmare to end!! Please smack me so I wake up!! LOL
  16. WOW that blows you guys can't hunt them 24-7//365 like Pa. What the hell is NY Game Comm. thinking. Me I'd kill them season or not. Outta sight outta mind, Kernal Klink would of said "I seeee notzing"
  17. O ok yea I'm going to get a set. Thanks, yea I thought they were just another thing to bust off, as I didn't know there was reinforcements inside!!
  18. Was up at my uncles hunting/fishing camp over on the Oswegotchi River Sunday water was pretty high over there. Helped get that camp opened up and ready. Snowed the whole time and it was cold, the sun came out for a bit so we hit the water, pike were active that's for sure, 24" to approx 30" was the best with many in the 15" zone. The clouds set in and the wind kicked up and blew so hard we were drifting up stream even with the river high and flowing heavy. We fished 1hr. Till it wasn't fit for man or beast. Headed over to camp in Dexter only to see the water higher then ever in my time. The Dexter dam was shooting water out over the dam as hard as it was in that flood a few years ago. There was whole trees roots and all litterly flying over the dam then we got our camp up and running put our new gazebo up that a tree branch busted off a huge pine tree in the wind and a branch punched a hole in our roof and destroyed our canopy and bent the long roller that the canopy rolls up on and smashed our gazebo, we fixed all this earlier as the camp owner called and told us about the situation. We didn't fish due to most launches were under water. We took the rod off the trailer to bring home to try to straiten and removed the canopy from the trailer. Will return with new canopy and hopefully a straitened rod. Start our prodject of repairs and hopefully Mother Nature cooperates and the water subsides some!!
  19. This is a great thread, I've been following closely, I have the same problem, in the wind it's a beoch to load, I didn't know that the poles actually guide you into the trailer. I just thought they gave you a idea of where you need to be, as some launches are so steep that I can't see my last set of rollers even if I tilt them up as far as I could, my trailer there's not much room for error!! Or your into the next set of rollers or if your off some because you missed the sweet spot you have the nose gouged up!! So the post actually assist in the loading?? I just thought they were pieces of pvc pipe for a visual on the approach. Thanks. I know I'll need the 60"ers for sure. I have approx. 4" left/right or the back rollers are on the rib and the others are in between the ribs and the boat sits crooked on the trailer.
  20. OOH man I thought you were talking kicker, not your big hammer, that's a differant ball game. Get a hold of Hank on here, pm him and see what he says!! He's the king of swing when it comes to stuff like this. If it were a kicker that differant, but your talking big Yankee $$$ if you F'up!!
  21. Hey that's no shyt we saw one go past Henderson harbor with a grill on top of it!!
  22. Way to go Kevin, that's what we need to boost moral a 2 man ticket of Lady'O Gold!! Congrats guys!! PAP
  23. That's good, I don't know if I'd want to make the run at 6mph so you don't run a log through the hull or drive over a picnic table, LOL, I'm sure there are a lot of guys that don't scare easy, but I burn 8 of my 9 lives already!!
  24. I would personally like to thank all the guys I bought fishing lures, reels, tree rod, down speed and temp units, basically my tackle box is a small part of others boxes that has allowed me to have triple or quadrupled my belongings to fish multi species at a cost that is almost unheard of. Buy belonging to this site I got to go to these trade shows that I never knew of before and have met differant guys who are the owners of a buisness that make lures, paint lures, sell differant products for fishing. Thanks to all that helped me get where I'm at today with the top of the line equipment at a fraction of the cost at big box store, if they even carry most of the stuff I buy, a lot is manufactured for Lake'O as many items work everywhere out of a box but the hand painted and designs are focused towards Lake'O species!! PAP.
  25. Um I personally believe that the road being tore up from the turn to and past the launch was the reason. The road was so cluttered with machines it would have been risky to have the launch open.
