  1. Good choice there Mr. Black the 9th of June we will be on board with Gene also, Best of luck to you and I'm sure Gene will let a few loose for ya chase around PAP!!!
  2. Thanks Captain Rob, that's the best I heard, with a tad better in simplicity
  3. Thanks GILL-T, I'm going to make this up with reg. Wire then a pic. To you before I do this permanent. I'll have to put my mag 20 on the probe side, because I can't lift 16# torps with the 10's and I can't switch probes right.
  4. SUB TROLL CABLE ATTACHES?? How do you guys that have these probes connect the cable to the probe, I'm a tad confused with the to fully insulate or do you leave it bare like this, but others say to use a swivel. If this is the proper way then I'll copy what's done here. Please a little help needed!! also what type of insulation should I use? Thanks PAP
  5. Well, you did a good job making that perch look gigantic on a second note you caught more than I did this year. LOL
  6. Man that's a huge perch!! is that #13 size lure or a 15 thanks, nice haul on a slammer perch
  7. Holy Moly that's git'ner Done!! Congrats to ya Well deserved!!
  8. Did it compress hard, and won't return? I know shocks should extend on there own, that's why they are tied so they don't when new in the box.
  9. Make sure your not in the back up mode., if not mine comes forward to the ball or how would it release if your not in the reverse mode, the wheels would be in the locked up mode not??, I just did my breaks you have to work the toung, mine returned on its own.
  10. How $20.00 plus shipping, that's $10 each plus your getting the spare ends and brackets, your other brackets on the hose clamps will come in handy, trust me I carry a spare everything with my luck!!
  11. Alright I'll measure what I have to make sure! Be right back. yea what I have is bigger on each one than your numbers by a few inches.
  12. That's pretty fast for a split shot to even be effective, here's a Precision Trolling page starting at 1/2oz at 2mph as you can see it only give you 6 ft. So a 1/4 is half the weight so I'd guess a foot or below the surface at speeds 2mph or greater. Here's a page out of the book just to give you an idea!! Sorry the pics. are blurry but still gives you an idea. PAP also this page is for spinners or very shallow cranks.
  13. What type of motors are you using, I have a set with the connections on them for O/B to kicker, I just wanted a extra set of rods. Two years ago I broke the knuckle off, so I raised the the main out of the water, luckily the rod stayed together, and i ordered a repair ends for each end. Fixed it and wanted a spare it came with the clamps which I don't need. If you don't go with Hanks idea I have an extra set. But measure yours somehow so I know these aren't the same. You might have a set for a smaller main O/B to kicker. These are for O/B to kicker, someone must have cut the extra off.
  14. Do you have a trailer at all to trade. I have a roller trailer I'd trade for a bunk trailer? Even if the yours needs work I'll still trade you. Want a bunk trailer instead of a roller!! Mine is not a spare!! And will need it to trailer up to camp, plan on fishing the Monday-Friday the first full week after all gun-ho's go back to work.
  15. That pic. of the kids holding there fish, with smiles so big, Priceless!! Congrats to your outing day with the kids!!
  16. Beautiful fish and looked like nice weather to go with it!!
  17. Wow what a slob the PFreak!! That's laying the smack down on that hog of a brown, congrats to your outing and other catches!!
  18. Absolutely, we had one hooked up over 135-down 60, at first the dam fish almost spooled me, all the other poles got reeled in and riggers up, we backed towards this fish, like wicked tuna. LOL at least we got to see a shadow down 20+ feet I yelled it's a F'n Sturgeon, this was the biggest fish I ever hooked!! This fish did what it wanted to, to say I was in control at all times would be a complete LIE, we got it to about 5-10ft of the surface, the fish threw the breaks on before the swim platform got a oz of slack and 45 minutes of fighting was over as quick as it started. We used to catch sturgeon up in Canada on the Gatenau River in the mid 70's to early 80's we stayed at a camp called Lake Bitabi or something like that it was a tad above Maniwaike, they still spoke French and that was it. I know what a big sturgeon pulls like, this was a Muskie and a huge one at that, I wouldn't be afraid to say it was pushing the 60" mark seriously!!! But it's still swimming!!, we hooked this fish of the back side of the sunken island headed towards the north shore of Galloo island out in 135. I wasn't mad, I lost this fish, I don't care if ever hook another musky, but to the right guy this fish would have been a fish of a lifetime!! Muskies do go deep at times, there's a couple of guys hooked up on some. Great stories guys!! Pretty cool hearing the oddball stories, the ones you just can't make up!!
  19. LOL Legacy I think the same applies for drinking beer I had no idea stating my daughter would love to hold a fish the size of Slammers that he's going to bury would set fire under the azz of so many people, but then again I should of known for the reason I say below. I didn't know that they are one step away from glowing green I even said I don't voice my opinion because of the bashing I took on crow hunting, that I do the same as Slammin does with the lakers, no I'm not a wagon jumper I bought several hundred $$$ worth of Brian's rigs to hunt lakers just as Skipper stated, keep the kids busy and gives them the incentive to come along with dad again. On that note I'm done. Obey the law and all is good PAP
  20. Very nice fish, congrats to your outing!!!
