  1. Put them on the poles they learn quick, my twin daughters started when they were 7/8 years old, they have beginners luck, the first hour Emily fought her first eye, and lizzy fought her first smallie, after that is was a slow pick at them, they occupied themselves in the cuddy playing games. When we hook up we alternated times, now they are pizzed because I'm not going to fish Saturday or Sunday, comming up Sunday, to fish the rest of the week, which they would of had off, but the winter took all there days away so they get out on time!!
  2. According to the forecast looks pretty damn good the rest of this week, go get'em guys, send pics for us less fortunate pa. state guys
  3. Oh I know that!! I didn't mean it that way. I didn't mean to be an ass!! I apologize if that's the way you took it!! ITS all GOOD , no harm meant PAP

  7. Hey baller we are from the southern Pocono's, bout 1 1/2 hrs norh of you. My wife has friends from collage that live in Reading area, we run out rt100 then 22 to 309 north. It takes us 5 hrs towing up, then I can do it in 4-41/2 hrs, all depend on who's going I got the geriatric crew who needs to piss every hundred miles, then got a group that even my back teeth are floating till the request piss stop, but no vending machines for coffee or hot chocolate!! I'm just happy once the boat's up there, that a big relief off my shoulders once she's in the camp ground!!!

  9. Do you know if the metal one has the same bolt pattern?.
  10. All is good!!! Not to panic, it could be me not knowing what the hell is up!! That wouldn't be the first
  11. Over the 30 years of combined, being in the starter & alternator Buisness, I can personally say that 95% of electrical problems are bad grounds. Everyone thinks of the hot side when a bad ground has destroyed more starters and & alts. A bad ground creates excessive amperage, and that means heat!! Which is the destroyer of all!! Just helped a fellow member out with close to the same deal.
  12. Well what name do you want it comes up low baller but the title is Optimistic
  13. Welcome aboard, are there 2 guys on hear with the same name?? If not, just my mind slipping, but yea lots of info great group of people on here!!
  14. ERRABIT, I just pushed them into the foam and they stick, my stinger size spoons I'll use two pieces of foam on to of them to travel. Then the won't fall out, and if it stays flat that won't happen either.
  15. I built my dog house and I used that 1/2" silver on both side house foam, I cut it to fit tight then I used ply wood glue like for sub flooring and I also used 5/8" house wire staples and nailed here and there just for extra hold. I made a frame and sheeted it with 1/2" plywood so the 5/8" staples won't pop through. Hope this helps, you can hardly hear my 350 running.
  16. Your most welcome!!!
  17. Wow that's a peice of art for sure!!! The amazing part of this fish is the raised lateral line down the center!! I guess that somethings a aged trout person would pick out or its just that noticeable either way it would look better on my wall!! Only kidding Beautiful peice of work that's for sure!!!
  18. What kind of detailing, someone to clean it or someone that does pin striping, and paint or vinyl letters?
  19. That's basically what this is other than the grating holds the tops and the foam below holds the spoon ridged in the slot, every slot filled will holds 265 spoons, a little running around and $35.00 later, I'm very happy with it. You can turn it upside down all spoons stay in place
  20. How bout it Dan, thanks for the update!!
  21. Yep I used dawn dish liquid bought a small bristled brush it was short in length but had stiff bristles, like maybe a concrete, or driveway tar brush had a regular length handle just kept cutting it off to suite the situation. But that worked, I tried my pressure washer I was make more of a mess than good, so I went back to the old scrub brush.
  22. Hey Muskie I learned with my wallet so after a few rounds of buying tarps, I bought those round assorted length bungee cords and they work great it allows the tarp to give some in the wind, I've had this same cover going on 3 years, I used the black heavy cords there just a tad to strong or I made them to tight. Either way I get 2 seasons out of these cords because I use them all year long. When I leave the camp I do the same procedure. I might not get back up for a month. I bought these cords at harbor freight fir a few bucks. I built a like a stand and posts to the floor to hold the weight off the windshield. I used, 12' 2x6's and ripped down the middle with a circular saw and screwed the 2x3's now to the stand that's higher than the windshield and the other end I just layed on the transom. With the angle and that spray all the snow slid off. Oh I put that pipe foam over the ends at the top so the boards wouldn't poke holes in the tarps and around the tree rod holders I leave on.
  23. Thanks guys, and tds840 the smaller ones are stinger walleye size so they fit with no modification!! So I know the rest of my eye spoons will fit also. To be honest I think all the 2 3/8 spoons will fit, so Nicks from Hybrid lures spoons will fit also, that's a major importance to me anyway!!!
  24. Well I finished up this great idea of a spoon box, definatly a $$$ saver, would have been in the mid to upper $20's but I went to Michaels for the foam and they raped me $9.00 a peice, where my wife says you could of went the dollar general and paid less for two than you did for one, yea, that's my luck the spoons in the box are just ones I had acquired from the Brewerton show and the Seneca show, plus what I gathered up over the winter. I left every other hole open to fit the spoons I have in boxes in the cuddy, I think I'm going to build another, only because I know what's in the boat yet.
