Well is sure sounds like your not alone, but that doesn't help you any. I would do as Justin said, most doctors I saw for my back surgery ALL said the likelihood hood of ever going without a walker or a Kane. That's when I started to look outside the box. I found a hospital that is owned by doctors, not StateFunded, called coordinated health, my insurance covered me, but not all, the doctor was flown up from Florida and read the MRI and there was a new procedure for my type of accident and I would be the 2nd person to have it done. There's no guarantees in surgery, but he said I'll walk again, but it will be a long road. I agreed to the surgery it was 5 1/2hrs. The first thing I did was wiggle my toes and they worked, the next day they got me out of bed!! Come on we're going for a walk!! Make absolute sure you put 110% into your physical therapy!!! Today I go without a walker!! I was the second person to have this procedure done the first guy goes with a cane, I don't. I had to pay for a lot for my braces and other stuff!!

That would be the sensible thing to do Dave, I was beyond that point being solo with lines out on dipsies yet, I guess it would have made $$ wise more sense to loose the dipsies than a rigger, but rage took over!! I'm much more laxed in my actions in my older more sensible self. LOL PAP.

The last time I hand over hand the wire in, I didn't have gloves the wire cut me all to hell. If it would have been another 50ft of wire down yet!! I would have turned the screw out and turned the holder 180 degrees and gave it a push, that's how mad and bloody I was.

This is what totally blows my mind, yep that 1 living cell I have left!! Ice fishing goes against all the rules of open water fishing!! Guys go out drill a hole in the iice that's got to carry sound for miles?? Now we get out a primitive stick with black line and a hook tied to the line hook a minnow on send down the whole, and commence to drill another hole 50ft from the hole we just set? Now we get out a pole that shorter than my daughters Barbie Poles got mono on a reel that looks like it was made by Mattel down goes a silver little thing a ma jig with a little ball of green snot looking stuff and up comes a nice walleye!! What gives? Now the lake thaws and we need all this technology to catch a bamn fish?? Most of this line Buisness is to catch people not fish in my mind. I know fish travel in schools but I tend to believe it has nothing to do with books or a teacher or education. Lol

Yea I don't, get the price gouging on fuel line, just because it has the red stripe on it they gouge you $10.00 a foot for the fill line. And the same for the line that feeds the system, personally I put the newer fuel line on approved for ethenal but it's not UCCG approved, but only 3" of that line shows from the bulk head to the water/seperator. The marinea didn't have the newer Ethanol approved line in yet when I did this . 5-6 years ago. After paying well over $100.00 for fill line, that was enough for me. I can't believe that a aluminumm boat doesn't have a floor plate to remove for the fuel cell it's self?? Although my father in laws cuts his aluminumm with a circular saw and that works nice, not as good as a plasma cutter, but with fuel I'd go the circular saw. This whole mess sucks!!!

Never can have enough fix'in stuff aboard, I only have one motor, but ya I carry new points condenser in the packet yet and hope I'll never need to, I also carry a spare alternator, starter, bought a 205 piece tool kit in a nice carry case. Very good advise lakebound88 as mentioned hoses and hose clamps, I don't carry a spray carburetor but a spray bottle filled with gas in itL 'great ides lake88'.

Yea that's what my uncles is 9.5 hp, excellent running motors!! East to start. His motor is early to mid 70's and still going strong. It's seen a lot of differant lakes in Canada!! Lots of miles being hauled to and from Canada, at the end of every trip the old Evinrude didn't miss a lick while the others fouled plugs, wouldn't idle at low rpm's to troll, you name it and the rest, well they experienced trouble of some sort. Take the tank out!! Let me fill you in on our experience!! My uncle complained about the smell of raw gas also, well one morning I got a phone call at 5:am his garage floor was soaked in fuel, and his coal stove that heats his hot water is in there, he told me to to the closest place and grab all the floor dry I could find. Make a long story short we took up the floor board and his fuel cell looked like it melted down it was just a blob in there. We were told the ethanol in the fuel and the additives you add to eliminate the ethanol also react to the fiberglass. The only thing that takes that resin off your hands is, ay shyt I'm having a brain fart, anyway it's a form of alcohol, what is corn juice?? Alcohol, after a period of time the fiberglass breaks down. Now we don't have access to alcohol free gas like you guys, but even The additives you add to rid the corn juice causes a breakdown of the resins in fiberglass. I did quite a lot of fiberglass work, as I worked for a relative that owned a vette shop. Learned a lot of tricks to the trade. Also learned what alcohol does to fiberglass. Vince I'd pull the for plate even if it's just for a piece of mind!! Good luck To ya in finding your smell, check to make sure you didn't wax your vent hole shut!! I did that once, so now the fumes build pressure and will take the path of least resistance. How I found that out I couldn't put fuel in it kept backing up and kicking the pump off. Noticed what I did, went in the gas station and bought a tooth brush and pushed the bristles through the screen then brushed the hell out of it. Problems solved.
