  1. Would anyone know a place that paints / decal work on a 115 engine cowling? Was going to try body shop but if there is someone out there that does it primarily I would rather go that direction. Thanks.
  2. I have the elite base, had to play with the kHz and trolling settings before I got it dialed in. One thing though I always got the down balls to show when I started. Do you see them at least?
  3. Pete, take it from bandrus looks like a bad jigging day, deep water 140-160 with 20mph wind says you won't be touching bottom like you should....
  4. Congrats to Jesse on the win, thanks Ryan for putting this on!
  5. Try xtreme navigation for lowrance. Got a good price on finder and down riggers last season
  6. Doritos and mountain dew
  7. Try boats.net. Had all the single parts I needed.
  8. Lobster, I don't think you have to worry about cooling. I have an evinrude that purrs down to nothing if need be. Are you sure that 2mph is what it actually is? Sometimes speeds vary between boats. If your dragging flashers on the bottom you will know your too fast with the throbbing and not staying on bottom. If your spreading spoons across the thermocline I'm liking that speed. As you may already know if your catching bows and salmon your fast if all are lakers pick it up a bit. If line is too far back go to a heavier weight. A drift sock as was mentioned off the bow does the trick though if truly needed at a min cost. Hope it helps.
  9. A link with some directions on where to find the group, Ive got the bracket all set, looks like I need to get those spinnys ready!
  10. Hey Willi, so far so good. Unit was a little tough to get settings clear with downrigger balls but after a few outings I've got it looking good. Bought it with a rebate last year and this year it has a good price too. It doesn't have speed but I have the x4 for that or you can utilize the GPS on it. Overall pleased with it.
  11. I would check the one that has the plug to see where the pos neg are going inside the unit. If I remember right the positive went to the white circuit breaker but don't quote me. You would be able to find something on the net as far as a manual. Mine when it went still worked but sent a 1 volt through cable which isn't good. Should be .50 to .65 on the cable. So I replaced it. Just couldn't figure out why it wasn't catching fish off that rigger. Low and behold......
  12. Willy, here's my limited experience. Yours more than likely have the ion control with the features you mention with your up button. Cannon back in the day didn't advertise it as having it but found out in fact my older mag 10s did. You can only test the auto stop feature with the boat in water unless your an electrical whiz. The ion bit is always on so you wouldnt be able to turn it off unless you disconnect the green wire mounted to the motor. The system actually works through your cable which by the way has to be steel not braided. The circuit board can be replaced with a newer version, about 85 bucks from cannon. They will also guide you on the wiring inst as it is a little different than the board that's in yours now. Not to difficult to replace. The pos and neg need to be known before you wire it to battery. You will smoke it if you get it wrong. If you need the diagram I have it somewhere just would have to dig. The cannon tech was very helpful when I had the board issue. Hope this helped. Mike
  13. 300.00 for the pair. Yes they have the short stops. Send me an email, I can send some pics. Cable is original and would suggest replacement.
  14. I have 2- Cannon Mag 10A's. Great working condition. Thought I could run 4 electrics when I bought 2 more. Found out I cant. Selling old ones to replace. Long booms, single rod holder on each. 300.00 or B/O. Pics available if needed. Newark
