  3. Just an update, some may already know or be aware of but just in case, I had received some info from the fisheries group ( Region 8 ) that they were performing larval distribution on the lamprey this week so that they can better define their treatment strategy for the next spray treatment program in 2021. That's a good thing. Also they just increased the stocked LT levels back to the 2012 amounts. That's a better thing. Same amounts on Atlantics and Rainbows, but didn't hear anything on Browns.
  4. Rick, my hats not only off to those woman who got right back out there, the event coordinators you mentioned, but to you and trail that you blaze. With this hitting so close to home it was really nice to read and enjoy your story. Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United mobile app

  8. Just an update: received my rod holders back from Traxstech today. Glad I did. Totally changed the amount of lift needed to swivel them. Must of had the wrong springs in as I don’t think there’s an adjustment from what I found. So from 50lbs of lift to 10lbs I’m happy. Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United mobile app

  15. one way is to get in the diary program. Here is the latest diary results from last year. Pretty much indicates what’s been mentioned: Lamprey, bait, natural production and lack of stocking. This isn’t rocket science at this point, kill the eel, get fish back in the lake, close season on lakers nov 1st -dec 31st. I’d be very happy. https://www.dec.ny.gov/docs/fish_marine_pdf/r8adlsene19.pdf Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United mobile app
