I’d cut the foam out carefully if you could. Being careful of any wires cables they might of run through the gunnel. If you can get get at least big washers underneath on your bolts event better. I know someone suggested toggle bolts which may work would hate to see you drill big holes for something like that. I’d take ur time though and do it right. Not that you have to swing off them but they do take some stress on the sides. Good luck. Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United mobile app

Wait, what it’s a Tom that looked to be like 40lbs........ what a slob I’ll see if I can get a pic one of these mornings while i have a chance. I’d agree. The electrics today with ipilot are pretty impressive. Now would I buy one it if I only trolled LO, I think I’d put an AP on my big motor first. If I did both, inland lakes and such I’d have both. And as Justin said If I had the money...... Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United mobile app

Somehow if there was an ECON officer standing at a launch with a poster board saying launch is CLOSED, there would still be someone that would ask “but do you mean launching a boat? Because im sliding my boat in.....that isn’t considered launching in a legal definition”....... Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United mobile app

What a beast. My youngest caught his first one a couple of years ago on the dock and had an absolute blast with it. Neighbor who does artwork helped him create a painting using rice paper and paint right on the fish. Cool project. Thanks for sharing. Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United mobile app

Yea I agree with the weight and motor in the bow. I was remembering a bad experience when I installed my bay star and had the wrong ratio. Couldn’t get the boat on the trailer lol. He’s got cable steer so not the issue. Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United mobile app

Yea, I agree that ventilation question is scary no doubt. I will say based on what I know having an employee out on the west coast is that they have been more aggressive and sooner than us in NY. The lock down, mask requirement of some form when shopping for food etc. it seemed we were a step behind for a few weeks. Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United mobile app -

I’d say if your by yourself or with another person and keep the social distance you would be fine and not bothered. If you pull up and three other guys get out or a bunch of people and start kayaking together you’ll soon see another sign up that’s says No Kayak Launching. Just my take. IMHO, I feel this launch closing was a result of the “majority” of people not following the guidelines vs us here on LOU who are the “minority”. If your ticked off because you can’t get your clients out, don’t be, if your ticked off because you and your buddies can’t get out, don’t be. If your ticked off because you can’t come up from out of state to boat and fish, don’t be. If your ticked off because you can’t go fishing by yourself or with your family “You have every right to be”! But I have a sense of who you should be upset with. I almost wish that they would of left the launches open but gave direction to coast guard / sheriffs to go up and down the lakes and ticket every freakin boat that wasn’t a single boater or only had family members on it. Wonder what excuse would be used then. “It’s my constitutional right”...... ummm in case you didn’t realize, it’s a privilege to hunt and fish. Let’s be real. Just for the sake of doing the right thing for the right reasons. I’d also suggest you become a perch fisherman. If you find a launch and are truly a single boater, don’t advertise it. It may become ruined by the noted above offenders. Just saying. Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United mobile app
