Sodus Point declares state of emergency

Thanks FF. Yea I’m torn and it looks like I would never end up using the link feature vs just using the spot lock and I pilot features. I’m thinking off the 72 as well but need to do some verifications on heights to make sure. Seems long but your right on when it’s rough I don’t want the prop coming out. Thanks for the replies and the pms guys, for those that have them connected to a mfd, do you find yourself using it much with the ipilot when fishing? I went with raymarine for my auto pilot and rarely find myself using it through the depth finder. I usually just point and troll. Sent from my iPad using Lake Ontario United

Looking to install a motor on the bow, son is getting really into bass plus I could use it to stay in shape on perch etc. thoughts on what you prefer for model or make. Looking at I pilot Minn Kota Terrova or Ulterra. Might hook up a hummingbird for the bow but not sure I want to at this point. Pm your suggestions or what you think is best. I’m not sure Lowrance would be the cheaper option unless he already has the MFD to drive it. I’m still thinking it needs to be a HDS unit. Your looking at about 2-3k depending on what unit HDS model it is plus the AP. Raymarine was about 1200.00. Don’t need a MFD to operate it. Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United mobile app

This really shouldn’t be a state issue, these are federal offenses and should be in a whole other world where his fines and sentences for a guilty plea from him or found guilty by a jury should be insane. I don’t see where money is going to help his case in the event he plea deals in this one...... but then again Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United mobile app

Don’t forget about the kick back you’ll see. The graph may be lying to you from what the balls are showing for depth vs actual. Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United mobile app

Frogger replied to Bustersit's topic in Tournament Talk, Shows, Events & Seminars
Just an idea and may have been talked about, recording the seminar and sell the cd’s to those that couldn’t attend? Discounts to past Alumni.......lol. Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United mobile app -
Hey Buck, I would do a search on this as there has been a tremendous amount of talk with exactly what your looking for. There are several opinions as to models and types, some for the big motor since you already have hydraulic and it being tied to the kicker with a bar, some like the trolling motor with the AP on that, some like having the electric motor on the front with an ipilot and just run your kicker. As far as brands there again are all types and you will get all sorts of responses. You really will have to determine what you have and how much you are willing to invest, Putting one on is the best thing I did for my rig. As far as install, if you ever installed a depth finder and can do basic plumbing work or are mechanically inclined id say you can install an AP, at least from what I learned with installing a Raymarine AP. Once you figure out how the fittings / lines run for the steering, you mount and wire up everything else and it ends being a nice little project that you would be glad you did. I understand though if its better from a time standpoint to get some one to install. Hank ( L&M) on here is a great resource as well for install needs.Good luck on your project.

Hey fish, welcome back to the Finger Lakes. Nothing has changed at all, Seneca is still a deep cloudy murky pool with tons of smelt hitting the creeks in April, tons of people lined up on the sea wall catching slob lakers, huge browns out in front of the discharge at Dresden...... Ok so I maybe reaching a little..... yea, it’s changed from the 90’s quite dramatically in most ways but still a lot of fun. I’d say plan on hitting Cayuga more often when you come up. I still think you’ll do well with the streamers. Lots of help on here from some good fisherman. Good luck this spring. Sent from my iPad using Lake Ontario United

That’s a high return rate of past hunters which I would think means a good place to be at. With almost half of the group seeing potential shooters I’d say is a good number as well. I’m looking to set up a trip for a rut hunt just haven’t decided but this place seems on the list. Makes a difference too with being with friends / family vs by yourself as well from getting settled in I’m sure. Sent from my iPad using Lake Ontario United
