  1. Yep all solid offers, but guess what, he’s not accepting them. Sounds like some people are upset? Why? Cause you can’t get what you want? For what you want to pay? I kinda hope he pulls it off the listing because he wants to keep it. Seems like some are using LOU just for a good deal and if it’s not, being bullying about it. Not everything on here is going to sell for bottom dollar. Bottom line if the boat is in that good of shape with low hours someone might just buy it for what he’s asking. Some will respond “then they are crazy” I would respond why do you care? If your not interested move on. I’ve got a similar boat, 7 years older, it’s for sale too. First 25k takes it. Caverly, sorry to jump your thread. Sent from my iPad using Lake Ontario United
  2. Web cams are a big help for me, NOAA has an animation map that seems to have changed this year. Not sure about it. Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United mobile app

  5. Ain’t that the truth! I have a brother that still yells at me when I’m a rider with him in tournaments and ask where’s the spinning rod.... lol Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  6. I think you give this guy Sk8man too much credit, it’s not like he’d give the shirt off his back to help anyone on here or out on the water, or I would bet if you ever had a chance to see him in action, probably can’t catch a perch or laker to save his life, probably makes his own lures with googlie eyes that don’t catch fish, heck I betcha if it were 20 mph winds during a derby he’d throw in the towel cause he couldn’t keep his lines in the water to catch the winning fish, he might even tell you he has so much history on the Finger Lakes he’s going to come out with a book. Question I have is, when is it coming out? I wanna copy lol. You sir are one of the Legends of the FL. Those who haven’t met him, go out of your way to meet him, whether on here or at the dock. You’ll be glad you did. Sent from my iPad using Lake Ontario United
  7. He’s got some new paint schemes on them that look real good too. Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  8. Sometimes it can get tough. One dead give away that I’ve never seen wrong is inside the top roof of the mouth. Single row of teeth salmon, double row brown, triple row or more don’t put your fingers in it.... it’s gonna hurt. Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United mobile app

  10. Interesting. I too just heard from Steve as I was too curious about it. Your correct. It’s the batteries. Never heard of it before. He did say it’s in the user guide under routine maint section to loosen cap daily. Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  11. Agreed. Also, ask the seller, he may fund it. He would want it to help sell it unless there’s other issues. You never know till you ask. Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  12. I was thinking that at first but thought with the force of psi down 130-150 ft and only really having at the extreme maybe a 50 degree difference between atmosphere and down deep, the psi down deep would be greater, but I get it. I’m sure going to keep an eye on it, I hate to keep unscrewing the cap though if you don’t have to is all. Weird they don’t list it in the manual. Sent from my iPad using Lake Ontario United
  13. I’m not a engineer but wouldn’t the pressure equalize when the probe comes out of water? The most pressure it will see is when’s down deep correct? So if it was going to crack it’s going to do it when’s it’s being used hence the cracking issue is happening during use which is a hole other issue. Just an opinion. The grease topic I’m sure is for preventing water from getting in to the electric side which some have already mentioned that the new units are separate. I thought the issue that was mentioned was the unit cracking. Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  14. So the theory is that if your weight ie split shot is above the hook your less likely to floss a fish or accidentally snag a fish. If the weight is below the hook ie drop shot or bull head type set up, hook hits the fish first. Weight on the hook like a jig head is a no no or where the bait is not in approximately of the hook like using a bead is important. Remember the location on tribs is the defining point and important. Usually below the first bridge is where these regs change allowing for what your trying to do to be more flexible. Hope that helps. Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United mobile app

  17. Yea I’m with ya. Went through the same thing a couple of years ago. Had the elite when they came out. Sales guy said oh yea if it has nema 2000 you should be fine. When I was ready to buy the AP, someone who knew what they were talking about said nope it won’t. It’s just for data only. Now with that said the new elite ti series said it had smart steer which is what runs the lowrance AP but don’t quote me. Anyway I went with Ray marine. 18. The HDS part always seems to catch people. It’s great if you already have it, tack another 1-2k if you don’t. Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  19. Would that be the same for rough seas though? I could see that if the lake were flat but if it was rolling I wouldn’t think the two would compare for getting back in. Just me though. Having something is better than nothing. Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  20. That would be cool then. It looks like the elite ti series 9 and larger has the smart steer program like the HDS models do. I don’t why it took me so long to get an AP. Absolutely love it. Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  21. So I’m not entirely sure if lowrance has changed this or not but I’m thinking unless you have an HDS model you won’t be able to control your AP through the unit. The elites and hooks only have nema 2000 that will show data only but will not drive the route if you know what I mean. Maybe someone else can chime in or like you said contact lowrance for an update. Make sure you get a tech. The sales guy will tell you “sure it will”. 23. I run a 115 with a 8 kicker with a tee off the main to both, they also have individual bulbs to the motors. Some said you need to have valves on each line, others have said your over thinking it. So I went without the valves. I have had no issues. Sent from my iPad using Lake Ontario United
