  1. Bandrus mine is an aluminum that had wood inside. Two signs becam evident, trolling motor bracket continued to require tightening and water that was getting in came out cherry red. When I took the transom cap off wala there was the rot. Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United
  2. One thing that I've come to learn out of Sodus is when the lake is ugly from a west, it sure takes more than a few hrs for her to subside. Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United

  4. Good ole Roemer release. Just remember it leaves flat spots / weak spots on cable over time when stacking it. Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United

  6. Try a blacks release taped to the pole. Many fish are lost cause they weren't ready or rushed. Hoop down through at the head. Many times and I have done it my self of not going down deep enough with the hoop. Keeping it shallow is when the hook is going to get caught. Ugg. What a bad feeling no doubt. 7. Nick does it look like it's starting to lay down or still bumpy? Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United
  8. My opinion is you'll be fine for doing the boat with a spray gun, title V permit and or booth requirements for NYS starts kicking in with facilities and or businesses that create levels of VOC's that can be summed up on the table listed within the reg. if your not doing other boats, such as a business, and only using a gal at the most I think you'll have no issues. And there are paints that are voc friendly as well. Good luck with the project. Sent from my iPad using Lake Ontario United
  9. Take an ohm meter and measure one battery on the 24 volt set up. You should measure 12 volts. You should only see 24 volts from the pos lead from bat 1 and the neg lead from bat 2 when both bat 1 and 2 are connect at pos and neg. Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United

  17. Just an update on the direction I went. Purchased the Control King as I just want the basic throttle control. Had to modify wiring harness so to extend battery wires from where it would be placed inside the splashwell. No big deal. Installed per instructions. Went out next day. Smiled and said damn, that's cool. No more running to the back to adjust tiller. Pretty cool deal. Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United

  19. I'm going to say yes! What's it look like? Nothing in regs about use of lights for fishing that would make them illegal. Matter of fact it use to be a way of fishing at night on finger lakes for years. Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United
  20. Nice Mike. What a nice looking fly. Gots to get me some of that! Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United
  21. Fish, I'm not an expert on it but remember trying it back in the day. Called them down and outs. Somewhat a stealth move. Ran the small size dipseys off the side down riggers with the down rigger pole not a dipsey pole. So monofilament was the line that was connected to them. If your looking at doing it though just to get to deeper depths I would get the electrics lol. Sent from my iPad using Lake Ontario United
  22. I think it's huge. Both for carrying in, having it in your lap, or standing ready to shoot. I've got an older Barnett buck masters from years ago when hunting Ohio and man its a club foot when up in the stand. Fast and accurate but it's an anchor. Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United
