  1. Well, went with Control King. Brad thanks for the help and everyone else that responded. Pricing is double for Itroll which may be a great unit but I don't need steering and to be honest seems somewhat confusing to run the hunt mode for people that could be sitting at the wheel. C King seems simple and that's me I guess. Looking forward to getting it hooked up. Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United

  4. Spoke to a fellow Lou member about his set up. Seemed really simple and easy to set up. Control King was the make. Does anyone have any other suggestions from your experience. Don't need anything to steer. Just throttle. 8hp Mercury. Thanks for the suggestions. Sent from my iPad using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  5. Nice to see you out again FD. Hope things work out for the best. Nice report. Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United
  6. We'll start from scratch. Do you have spark on both plugs? Do you have good compression on cylinders like within 5-10 of each? If those are good then focus on the carb. After sitting for 3 years and then running you might have something clogged. You might want to bite the bullet take it to a marine mechanic that will get it running. 14. Yea, this is one legal jumble of words. So it needs to be "packaged for commercial sale" with the other bits green mentioned. I'm going to go out on a limb and say that if either need to be out on a body of water listed in the regs that has bait listed in the green list that you took from that day or you bought the bait from a dealer as certified with a receipt. Unless your in the trans route you can't travel over the road with uncertified bait. Im not really sure salting bait not originally certified and labeling them qualifies it as being usable on any water way. That's just me. Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United
  15. I'd check the primer bulb as a quick check. It should have a one way valve to prevent that. Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United
  16. I hate to find out the answer to this but would the dad who I watched growing up done or preached this same illegal stunts or is this just an adolescent issue. Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  17. So then they should revoke his Coast Guard license so that what ever the requirements are, he is unable to legally guide or run that business. Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  18. Congrats Kev, wish we could of connected at the awards. Nice picture Sent from my iPad using Lake Ontario United
  19. The fact that he profited from his illegal activity should of warranted a much heavier fine and impact on his future license abilities. Being it was a federal offense, with as much bait used, birds illegally shot I'm really surprised at what fines he was given. If he still has a business of guiding and chartering I'm at a loss. 20. As others have said, it was a grind. Ended up with a total of 10 fish the entire derby with getting skunked Saturday trying to go after monsters in the shallows with live bait. We did drop a money fish the last day, uggg. Son made it on the board with a nice 4.78 bow. Released to fight another day. Shot out to my buddies son who was awesome in teenage division. Also to the current standings on line leader board implemented this year. Saved a lot of running around and when you needed to get in to weigh. Congrats to all the winners. Let's get Seneca back to where she has been in years past. Catch and release. Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  21. Lucky, would you happen to have the precipitation info for the months of Jan, feb from the army core? I don't think anyone is not saying both April and May were high rainfall months. At that time though the train had left the tracks. I'd be interested in seeing the precip in Jan matched the SLR /dams outflows to keep levels manageable. Unless I'm missing something. 22. These are the comments that literally confuse the heck out of the true issue. I'm not arguing horse on your opinion but as I mentioned earlier is this a man made issue or a Mother Nature issue? There seems to be a tremendous argument about it being manmade. If this is truly the case, let's leave Mother Nature out of this because in the end it sounds like we still would not be in the predicament we're in if we would of managed it properly. It just confuses the true issue and becomes an attempt to remove accountability when we site record rainfall or lots of rain...... again I'm not arguing or trying to sway opinion. I just want to know is all. I feel really bad for all those impacted from this. Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United mobile app

  24. So if the levels were rising starting in December and flows were reducing out of the dams, isnt this issue man induced? Not just the fact that we have had record precipitation? If in fact they have been letting water out since December as much as they could to keep up with levels than they have done all they could. I'm not seeing this though hence I just can't see why someone just can't find who's responsible and resolve it for future years. All I'm hearing is rain records, climate issues, and Mother Nature is at fault. I guess I just want to know. Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  25. Gill, I'd be interested in knowing if in fact they were at the winter levels for a typical year back in November December or were we higher than expected? Meaning did they let levels rise and when it was too late in March damage was already done? Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United mobile app
