  3. Nice bird. Always happens at the wrong moment doesn't it. Good recovery though. Seems 1 out of 100 times you could pull that off on a Tom. Congrats! Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  4. 3 way tee. Have the same set up, after talking to an expert "Barretts", Fran said you won't have a problem with taking gas from the other motor, hooked it up like he said, haven't had a problem. Sent from my iPad using Lake Ontario United

  7. Use to launch out of Dresden in the early 90's then it went private quickly. Didn't see a boat launch out of there at all, but haven't been down that way a couple years. Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  8. Yep, and while your add it replace the connector from the fuel line into the motor. Take a look at your plugs as well, confirm gap, replace him if needed. Fresh gas, non ethanol. I have to choke mine a few times while its warming up to keep it at idle until it runs on it own. Sent from my iPad using Lake Ontario United
  9. Relentless I would do a search on here for past post. Some real good threads on this. I redid mine with a non wood, Seacast. In a nutshell it was higher cost but came out nice. Wouldn't do it in the middle of winter if I were to do it all over. Resins are tough in the cold. As far as protecting the wood, I think it's a must. Not that it's going to get wet from rain and such but just the environment itself will rot the wood quickly. Also the treated wood will cause your aluminum to pit from the corrosive nature of the copper. Coating the wood with an epoxy resin will make it bullet proof. Overall the job is harder on the mind in preparing than it is to actually do it. Hope that helps. Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United mobile app

  11. Yep, lost mine on cable. The funniest part of it was my brother telling me to hurry up and mark the spot on the depth-finder so we could go back and find it. It was in 300 ft of water near Sampson. And yes, I started to press the buttons until I realized....... Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  12. Yea, I get it, but I don't. Get more people out in the woods especially kids. So many people are worried about taking "my" deer, or it isn't traditional so it doesn't belong in the bow category. Yet some, I didn't say all, are back out hunting the next day with a gun after they they were successful with a bow. Show me the one person that only hunts traditional and nothing else and only takes one buck, I'll listen to their argument all day. To me it's about getting more people out in the woods. We need em folks. Bottom line. I hope we can get past this issue. Other states have. And boy do we look stupid. Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United mobile app

  19. Hey Denny just to add, by the way keep knocking on Les's door for info, one of the elite perch masters in the FL's. If you have electric motor for stealth. Any gas motor noise kills the bite. Anchoring near the expected location doesn't help. Bouy markers or gps as you drift when you bang a couple then come back way up wind and drop anchor is an old trick. Right now 2-4lb flouro with small jigs tipped with spikes minnows etc probably would be you best bet. I always say try to find your own school. Keep rods in the water don't lift fish out with boats going by will keep your intruders at bay. We're always learning. Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United mobile app
