  1. Sent you a pm buck
  2. I've been trolling it down to 1.0-1.5 for pulling copper with no issues.
  3. No problem, sorry didn't attach where I saw it. Anchor express website. They also beat anyone's price if you find it lower. http://www.anchorexpress.com/raymarine-ev-100-power-evolution-autopilot-t70154
  4. Buck, here's an opinion for what it's worth, look at what you have and what you need to invest to get it to work. Electric motor up front needs a battery system. If you have the batteries already it might be a good choice. I pilots are running 1k? Now days to 1500.00. The Lowrance AP needs the HDS series sonar to run them. I think. So you have the cost of both units if you don't. Not sure what you have for sonar. If you have an HDS unit the Lowrance might be your ticket. If you don't look at the EV 100 by raymarine. 1246.00 plus a 300.00 rebate till sept 5. So for 900.00 you get a complete AP system. You don't need anything else to use it either. Have to tell ya, hard to beat. Simple as hell to install. Just another option for you good luck. Sent from my iPad using Lake Ontario United
  5. Agree, and let's not forget, unless I'm missing something, he pulled himself out vs being DQ'd. That's a huge difference in my mind and if this is in fact the case kudos to him. Integrity at its best. Sent from my iPad using Lake Ontario United
  6. I wouldn't give up on her just yet, maybe she was able to free herself, you should post a pic of what she looks like so we know if we see her.....
  7. I would of paid more for a seat on that barge than a seat at a Billy Joel concert ! Sent from my iPad using Lake Ontario United
  8. kinda agree however for what it's worth , went with a 9.8 electric start, now I run Depth, Fish Hawk, AP,radios, lights, aerator. When I'm done trolling 6-8hrs my batteries are at 14v like new. When I had my non electric prior to I had to start my main every now and then to make sure That level of comfort to me is huge and would never go back to a non charging system.
  9. It is a nice rig. Still have to look into those high seas trees. Sent from my iPad using Lake Ontario United

  13. Same here Kev. Hope he gets out soon. Pier fishing soon coming!
  14. Good question Muskie, when the sampling was first required, they would sample the batch" the pool population " with several fish. Not sure now how they do it. It was if I remember at the time $900-$1000 a sample. Hense the 3.50 -$$$ upcharge from years past. But it's vague in my memory bank. All I know is you better have a slip if you have bait. Or be prepared to show where when and how you got em.
  15. Muskie you have it right from your last post but I think what you were saying previously about the bait that Mariam was selling isn't certified because it couldn't be and therefore it couldn't be transported raised all of the hub bub. I'm glad you referenced the regs in your last post and have it correct now. No harm no foul.
  16. Good luck up there during the shootout. Looks like an awesome event.
  17. Gordy was his namo! Sea IV it was good chatting with you the other day up at Sandy.
  18. Someone had a cool idea, he had a skate board coming back from the lot.... Young at heart! Sent from my iPad using Lake Ontario United
  19. Went out of Sandy as well, a little west, I stayed in that 140-150 depth as well, lost a screamer, dropped two more, ended with some stud lakers, rainbows, and a acrobatic Atlantic. All released. Boys had fun. Sent from my iPad using Lake Ontario United
  20. responsibilities between vessels - Who has the right of way?1. A power-driven vessel underway must keep out of the way of:-A vessel not under command (unable to maneuver). -A vessel restricted in its ability to maneuver.-A vessel engaged in fishing.*-A sailing vessel.2. A sailing vessel underway must keep out of the way: -A vessel not under command.-A vessel restricted in its ability to maneuver.-A vessel engaged in fishing.*3. A vessel engaged in fishing* when underway must, so far as possible, keep out of the way of:-A vessel not under command.-A vessel restricted in its ability to maneuver.*A vessel engaged in fishing does not include fishing with trollinglines or other apparatus which does not restrict maneuverability. (ie. Sport Fishing) This from the NYS boaters guide. It's what I always went by. Sent from my iPad using Lake Ontario United
  21. Definitely an impact to the fisheries somewhere. I'll have to look back a couple of years ago after a derby someone asked why we were releasing breeder lakers we caught during it to let them fight another day, the person said the lake had too many and we needed to cull the population. Mmmmm. Well consider it culled I guess.
