  1. I think the only way to really know Bill is to reach in there up past your elbow and feel around. There might just be a treasure chest in there ………😀
  2. Had X-16 mounted in the back, loved it when starting out in the am with the fish in the thermocline.
  3. Man, gives you chills….. Good luck next week!
  4. So for what it’s worth, I don’t think tabs are the only answer, if it’s leaning at full throttle. There was at one time a lengthy chat about a similar boat leaning to one side, not steering but leaning like from an unbalanced load. I’m assuming the fuel tank is in center of boat, kicker is opposite of driver batteries somewhat balanced in mid section of boat? You shouldn’t really have any lean, unless your considerably less than the weight of your kicker (they usually weigh under a 100lbs), thus the topic was centered around the main motor not mounted at the correct height. I think it was mentioned it was mounted too high. Any hoo I would hate to see you mount trim tabs when it might be your overall engine / boat performance that is getting robbed. Might want to do a search on here to find the posts or talk with the dealer about it. You might even find or hear back from guys on here who had it. I always was never a fan of band aiding the problem. Unless it was to get you back to dock lol. Nice rig by the way.
  5. Thanks for posting Danne, try not to take so long for the next one….. 😀
  6. Love that proline! Nice rig
  7. Re did my transom in Seacast. About 10 years ago now. Incredible stuff.
  8. Thanks for sharing, Nick, my condolences to you and your family.
  9. Rick, as always thank you for taking the time to tell us your highlights from your trips, the video seems to be the touch of class! Like we’re right there listening to ya…… lots of folks on here appreciate it very much.
  10. Probably difficult to say knowing your in a river like you said. Not sure how much current there is. Did it do the same going opposite direction? Do you hear pump activating (trying to steer) when your going off course? There is a feature to step up the response from leisure to performance. I use this when it’s windy vs calm days. Gives it a quicker response when boat is being blown or pulled off coarse. Not sure if you tried that. For what it’s worth it, the 100 does sound small for your set up. Not sure without looking. You can verify it with your ram size on the hydraulics to what Raymarine suggests.
  11. It was a hot fishery out front of Dresden back in the late 80’s early 90’s. Big browns, lakers, and landlocks dead of winter and early spring. Shallow water with bobbers. I do miss that.
  12. My evinrude 115 was doing same thing, replaced rectifier. All better. From what I learned could be a slew of things. Contacts, like what was suggested, wiring connections etc. someone on here will have some other ideas to try or will have the answer for your particular motor.
  13. Boy I’ll tell ya Steve, they were spitting them up left and right yesterday, must be a lot of them to be feeding on them like that.
  14. Went out yesterday to run the boat around, first time with the new seats. The smile on my sons face while running through the chop was priceless. As all have mentioned, it’s a game changer for how your boat runs and feels. No more sore back, at least for now!
  15. Yes, glad your on here, you are the upcoming elite to keep this sport going! By the way, gorgeous bow! Kudos to your dad as well, definitely put the time in, it shows. Hope to see ya out there!
  16. For whatever it’s worth, if it helps, you should keep your electronics off the TM batteries and put them on your main. Interference might be an issue and level drawing the lithiums if you are tying them together if you have more than one helps them live longer. To your question as long as your trolling with the motors charging the main you’ll be fine. Is your main going to be lithium as well?
  17. And that’s why I have a coffee and safety glasses on every morning at work lol
  18. Yea, the guys using them for steering I agree, 72 inch is the only way to go.
  19. SH, I’ve got a 60 Terrova. 19ft Sea Nymph GLS. Not sure if my bow is higher or lower than the FM. I don’t use it for steering while trolling which was the main factor in me going with the 60 vs the 72. There have been times though out on Seneca on strong south winds perch fishing and it comes up out of the water. Would I go to a 72? Nope. I’m more thinking to myself I’m ready to go in because I get called crazy for being out in the weather vs I’ve should got the 72. Other points you made are true. I probably would go to a 72 however if the FM sat higher in the front than mine and or your going to use it for steering while trolling. You cannot afford the mess if it’s rough and it comes out of the water making a mess of your gear. Just my thought.
  20. Wow creek had some flow Les. Looks like maybe a year there going to be spread out a little from the holes. Good crowd as always.
  21. A flock like your describing came through the Phelps area last week, covered a 75 acre field like it was white with snow, crazy
