  1. We just got a pup last month. Not a hunter, until I saw how she points out back!
  2. . Agreed . Easier and probably safer in the end to just lift off with two guys. There's also a neat trick ( if you have a wheel jack on your tounge) by putting a piece of wood under the lower unit, unbolt the motor having someone making sure it's staying on the transom, raise the tounge of the trailer, when the motor lifts off the transom the motor is standing on the wood, lower it on a dolly cart like you use working under a car, wheel it to a corner in the garage out of the way. When you go to hook it back up, same process. Did my 115 that way. Easy Sent from my iPad using Lake Ontario United
  3. Thanks Les. I'm going nuts! All these hot lures on here too! We need some weather soon.
  4. Boy awful quiet in here, I can hear those spring peepers! Thanks for reaching out ric to a more credible line of information. And just to add to the mess of the invasive species, don't throw out the VHS impact as well. There's been some talk about a die off that could play a role as well. I think I'm ready for spring!
  5. Motor sold. Thanks for the interest everyone.
  6. Swedish, got a guy coming to look tommorow. I'll pm you if there's a chance.
  7. Got my flys Mike! They look freakin hot! Oh yea. How's "Senecas Godzilla"
  8. Damn Mike, I thought I had royalties lol
  9. For whatever it's worth, it's not illegal to have expired flares on board as long as you have the unexpired flares on board as well. Nothing wrong with back ups if in the event you needed them. That was from the coast guard. I would make sure you have them labeled. Or use them for fire starters lol
  10. Great idea! Wondered if they fit inside each other to have one when storing? That would be cool.
  11. Thanks Rich.
  12. Rich, a buddy asked me if its trailer able on the road without any permits or such?
  13. 2 stroke guys. Ran it on my 19 ft aluminum.
  14. Thanks Les. Hate to part with it but need the room as well. Thought maybe might be a good excuse to get the duck boat but....... Didn't fly lol
  15. Selling a 6hp kicker twin cylinder. 115 psi each cylinder. Great condition. 470.00. 3gal tank goes with it. Also ez steer bar - brackets. Used one bracket had been rebrazed. 50.00. Wayne cty area. Pm me with any questions /interests. Thanks.
  16. Nice to see you out Dan. Just remembered. Was gonna ask where you got those cool painted SD from last season.
  17. [emoji106]
  18. I would hate to see it leave Geneva but if it's do or die, get it somewhere that can keep it and grow it. The way big fish Friday is growing in size , I won't be surprised if that becomes the derby. Just a shame area businesses can't keep it going. But oh well. I for one can't wait.
  19. I can tell you Les, she purred in the driveway. Guy talked me into the 9.8 vs the 8hp pointing out that you won't see the increased hp until you open her up. Trolling speeds I should still be fine with copper. So ended up with electric start and because I was such a nice guy, he knocked off another 30.00. Lol. Fit on the boat nice. Just have to get the ez steer hooked up.
  20. Very nice Mike. Professional looking to say the least. I like the whites Wonder if you could slip some orange in with it. Like #5. I'd take a couple.
  21. Appreciate the info everyone. Ended up with a Tohatsu. Ordered Monday, got here today. Can't wait to get some oil in her and run it.
