Nick, besides the current factors which are really interesting, we lost one when the cable frayed. I will tell you I have lost more lures with these due the fraying the line. I went to a steel leader on the line and that has the coating all chewed up. I'm letting it out slow as well. Wonder if when I trip it its scoring the line when bringing in. Any way I'm thinking of not replacing. Verdict is still out for. Safe travel. Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United

You don't always have to catch a BIG fish to have fun

Well haven't been out in awhile, finally was able to get out today, started shallow 100ft marked bait with a few marks couldn't connect. Followed the string of boats out deep 550ft and hit a small king. Boats were even out further. Slow to say the least. I've got an idea, use pay for performance theory for DEC salaries. Let the fisheries group come out and get a limit. I'm not usually this opinionated however mid to late August? Fishing is like this? Something is not right in Denmark folks. A lot of frustrated people at the dock. Lake was nice at least. Oh well deer season is almost here. In Ohio. Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United

If anyone is interested, take a look at what Ohio has to offer and the season dates. Highlights: archery from Sept -Feb, 2 split dates for gun, a few days for muzzleloader with up to 6 deer depending on county, but you guessed it, only one buck per year. This is probable why they have one of the best managed herds. http://wildlife.ohiodnr.gov/hunting-trapping-and-shooting-sports/hunting-trapping-regulations/deer-hunting-regulations Sent from my iPad using Lake Ontario United

Installed a EV100 on mine took 5-7 hrs with hydraulic steer install as well. Includes custom work in dash etc. Was intimidated with it at first but glad I did it. I figured I saved 1k for install by shop. Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United

Yea, something is not right on why the second battery is discharging even though the main battery is taking the recharge. Unless you have that much draw with electronics and downriggers and such. I found out the hard way on my outboard of not changing positions on the perko switch while engine was running, fried my rectifier, not sure what it does on an I/O for what it's worth. I hope you make out. Sent from my iPad using Lake Ontario United

Be careful guys, they use to be called the Genetically modified salmon or GM salmon and yes they can breed with trout to make a hybrid. There's a ton of research about it if you google it. Have no idea though how NYS got into the mix. For what's it worth. Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United
