I have fished out of oswego the past 2 weeks with tough luck. Caught fish but long days to get them. I just purchased a 15lb shark in chrome. I will let you know if I see a different. Prior to the shark I had the 14lb round and 13lb torpedo fish shaped.
Relentless I was in the same situation as you. Coho Saturday and king Sunday. 3 break-off as well. Tried different f/f and speed but only managed a few bites. 320 dipsy took the most hits

Direction is more important than wind speed. I fish from oswego and a 9mph northwest wind will rough you up when a 9mph South wind is calm

Sorry I didnt get to post my saturday report. Had a tough morning. Issues with my trolling motor I use to steer and 2-3ft waves going solo made it difficult to report. Lost 1 in 154 fow on 8" green double glow with atomik fly. It was on rigger down 125 at the ball. Temp was 48.5 at that depth. skunked the rest of the day. Still plenty of marks near bottom 140-160 fow. Hope to be back up the next 2 weekends.
Thanks for the heads up ryno. I'll be up tomorrow and Saturday only. Hoping to out my first fish on the local derby

Bad where at? Forecast is winds 3-8mph from the south. Waves under 1 ft. Right now buoy only showing waves .7 ft

I had to go with lowrance to GPS with my motorguide xi5. Sucks fellow fishermen have to go through this stuff when they pay top dollar

Looks like I will be doing 1-2 days this weekend out of Oswego. Hopefully the blow last night brought some more fish to this end of the lake. If not I will target browns and smallies. I will try to do a report each day as there arent many reports coming from that area.
Pretty cool. Let's us know how you do. This is my first year on my own boat so still alot to learn

I run 3 colors. Pink is amazing for coho n steel. I've caught browns and kings on orange and I run chartreuse morning and evening. I use troutbead hooks size 6&8

I fish stricly with estaz flies once the fish enter the river. I have always done well on the lake with anything Green or black/white. Make sure to check the regulations in the river. I believe the lures need to be the floating style and have a hook regulation. Good luck out there.

I've been on the SLR the past 3 days bass fishing. I drove from swan bay to the lake yesterday. Found some action on the drop off east of of Carleton island 28-35fow. Only steady action for me was in Clayton fiahing the many shoals in the area 24-35fow
