  1. Haha, that's what makes it so exciting, I guess, and why they are the Kings!
  2. Nice, but next time that happens you might want to circle the fish with the boat, and start chasing it to gain line, instead of tightening the drag so hard that it pulls out. You will be amazed at how much line you can gain back in a hurry doing this. This trick helped me out a few times last summer on bigger fish, when I was by myself. I hope this helps.
  3. Sorry, saw the price for them after I posted. I will take the rod holders if you still have them. PM sent
  4. Yeah Chas, that is with riggers deployed as well.
  5. I have been experimenting with different blades and things behind them, and have had my best luck on the Luhr Jensen Bolo blades in size #3 with the chrome(or nickel) and prism finish, with an atomik glow mirage fly behind it about 20". They seem to love that look when they won't fire on anything else. I did not have much luck on the oversized blades or with any gold blades. Fished from 1.5-2.4 mph as close to the bottom as you can get them. I usually go about 5' from bottom. Hope this helps.
  6. Cannon rod holders still available? If so, what do you want for them both? Thanks.
  7. You still have any of these reels?
  8. Yeah, and that's why the mags work better on the inside ones, because they get down deep with less line out.
  9. Nicely done! They are suckers for those cowbells for sure!
  10. Looks like a big old 1 ounce or better jighead!
  11. No flasher, just the spinners, and you can try a variety of lures behind them from 12"-24" behind the cowbells. I have been using salmon flies behind mine, but kwikfish, spin-n-glows, and spoons are also popular. Silver base color seems to work better than gold on Lake Ontario for me as well. Hope this helps.
  12. Blacks is my vote as well. Great releases.
  13. Nice to see Karma does actually work, and you deserve the win, Captain Rick! Congratulations to you and your team! I know I will be seeing you at the Oak on the weekends. Have a great rest of the season!
  14. Great job, and it looks like the salmon are back!!
  15. Sweet Brown, they sure get fat on the big lake!!
  16. Nicely done, in awful conditions. All I can say for this weekend is thank god for lakers and browns, because I could not find any salmon!
  17. I got checked twice this weekend as well, at the Oak. Oh well, at least we know they are out there in case of an emergency!
  18. Oak Orchard or Sandy Creek.
