This seller agreed to a very reasonable offer that I made, unfortunately I had already made arrangements to buy a different set of boards. Don't knock him, if you want them make an offer.

See critical concept #3 towards the end of this article. Replace the word fish with weight and imagine that the fish in the first diagram is a downrigger weight.
Your sonar and counter should read the same, this is also what fish show as arches, when they first enter the sonar cone they are further away from the transducer in a straight line. As you travel over them the distance between fish and transducer is reduced which is why it arches up, and vise versa after you go over the top of it. Sonar reads straight line distances to objects.
No different brands make spar urethane, it is what is used on bar tops to keep them water proof, and I believe that fiberglass resin is meant to be used with sheets of fiberglass not just on its own.
Spar is a type of urethane water proofer. Resin and glass is definitely the best possible way to go, but urethaned well and kept dry, the floor will last more than long enough without the work, skill, and money required to glass it.
Been doing a lot of research on the topic as I plan on doing mine in the fall. Here's my take:
1 don't need marine ply if it isn't structural.
2 seal with a few thin coats of a good spar
3 don't use carpet if possible as it will hold water and eventually cause rot again
I have a large lot of bass fishing lures and gear, to much to list. All of it is used but most of it is in great condition, and I'm willing to sell it cheap. PM me with any inquiries and I can take and send pics of anything you may be interested in.

Count me in, I will be at the camp and probably fishing that morning anyway. It should be nice to have more than a couple boats on the lake not fishing bass.
Trolled Long Point to Miliken and part way back. Marked bait and fish top to bottom from ~75 > 120 FOW. Ran 8 rods 2 riggers, 2 dipsys, 2 ten colors, and 2 snap weighted spoons. Caught 1 laker and 4 short salmon. Laker and 3 of the salmon came on mag stingers on the lead, and last salmon came on stinger with the snap weight. Had no FF bites today rigger or dipsy. Had one big hit on an 11" falsher pulling an alwife(the fish ripped it in half) but no hookup. Missed 2 or 3 other bites. Fished ~6am > noon.
Started out with a run to the west, set up just before catfish at ~0645 out in ~25 FOW to stay out of the traffic while setting. Within 15 minutes the first rod fires on a yellow and black stick. Small Coho. Thinking it is going to be a good day. Went until ~1230 w/o another rod moving. Spoons and sticks, boards and riggers from 7 FOW to 30, WST from 42 to 49. Didn't seem like there was too much catching going on on any other boats yesterday either.
Launched from Meyers at about 9. trolled North from T falls went 3/3 in the first 1.5 hours. 2 ll & 1 Brown. Lake was glass calm, then wind picked up and water got rough and our bites shut off. All three fish on sticks.
Fished from around 930 until 1. Started out running half sticks half spoons from the little salmon west. Didn't hit a fish for about an hour. First fish was steelhead. Finally found 40 plus degree water about half way to the plant and the bites started coming, after two fish and one miss on the spoons we switched to only spoons on the boards. Ended up 6/9 with only one fish on a stick off rigger. 1 sh 4 browns & 1 laker. All in 12-15 fow.
