The coyotes eat all but the legs, bears on the other hand leave the skull. My tracking dog found a spot where a bear had 14 fawn skulls scattered around in it's bedding area. (Bear hair n scat found to confirm a bear) Later that year a 350lb bear was shot close to that spot. Their sense of smell gives them a huge advantage to find the fawns. Very cool mount! They are a top predator, I've had a pair on my land for the last five years or so, also saw a young one this year. Way less squirrels around to chatter at me in the deer stand! Sent from my Moto G (4) using Lake Ontario United mobile app
Got the final few plots in and some are starting to pop already and the clover pic is a sweet little kill spot we planted this spring and mowed regularly, it has great access and should produce! This year tried a mix of oats, cow peas, radishes n turnips. Also threw in some buck wheat. Rain baby rain!! Please! Sent from my Moto G (4) using Lake Ontario United mobile app
