Salvation Army Derby aboard Bellis Program
Nautitroller replied to Iron Duke's topic in Finger Lakes Discussion
I think team Bellis shared a few too many secrets this past weekend.., gonna have to deploy a few next weekend on Seneca in the FLTA tourney!! Don't want talk trash but, bring it boys!! Sent from my Moto G (4) using Lake Ontario United mobile app -
Well done gentlemen! I Was the rookie rod guy for Bellis n Burt, reeling in a pile of fish, one fish on the seven color I said it's a brown for sure, they all laughed at me. Said no way... Sure enough it was and the rookie old guy gets to teach em how to tell a brown from a salmon. Lol!! Great fishing with y'all! Les, nice to fish a lake that produces like that! No? Bite was a bit slow, Lakers wanted it slow! If you get out early try small spoons in purple trolled 3.0 mph+ Debris around Taughannock, there was a slick of crap headed north yesterday, green turbid water, t cline setting up around 45-50' try there for silvers.. Are you in the salvation army Derby this weekend?? Should be great weather.. Sent from my Moto G (4) using Lake Ontario United mobile app

Conditions will probably change enough that the fishing I did won't matter.. Seneca is so big and the lake can roll over like the big O, temps and a Thermocline were setting up nicely. But.... Sent from my Moto G (4) using Lake Ontario United mobile app

Launched a little late outta Severne, 9am . Set up a pair of ten color lead core and two 7 color on inline boards. Two riggers with cheaters and popped the speed up to 3.1 sog. Didn't get all lines out and the rigger was bouncing. Bow after bow, nothing huge but we landed 8. One small brown and a keeper Salmon also. Threw down a paddle with an UV wild child and picked a Laker to complete the slam! Keeping a few details out on purpose cause of the upcoming FLTA tourney.. PM me if you want details, lol! Orange n gold spoons were hot for us, one of our bows came on a small pink warrior lure. Five to ten color cores on inline boards were deadly! Tons of Lakers and we even caught a couple of jumbo perch n a five pound walleye. Riggers down 40 and 65 were hot too. North end was good for us. Lost a couple of big fish in tight on a bright chartreuse stick bait. Shoulda gotten back to the South end earlier the big Lakers were definitely there. Nicely done Bob three big Lakers you weighed!! 120 quart cooler Sent from my Moto G (4) using Lake Ontario United mobile app
