Well said, I've stayed out of this one cause I couldn't think of something positive to say... what was that old saying? ... The majority of guys on here are happy to help other guys catch fish, period. Dial em in boys and leave enough for all to enjoy. Sent from my C771 using Lake Ontario United mobile app

Drove by the Susquehanna yesterday, a large section of it, lol! ( From Baltimore to Owego), the color of the water was light green and looked almost like perfect steel head water. Level was somewhat low and very fishable. Go get the cats! Sent from my C771 using Lake Ontario United mobile app

We found that when the cats are feeding 4' or less of water is key. The fast water can produce some of the best action. Find the shallowest spot and if there is a deep cut or under cut the cats will be using that to come up into the shallows to feed. If you can, catch a fall fish and use him as cut bait, or crawfish. 4' of water seems to be best, yes you can catch em in deep pools but the action can be great in shallow, especially if you find a submerged tree. Spots can change from year to year, no fish in 20 min. Move! Good luck! As for launch points, check out Dec web site or PA launch sites. Sent from my C771 using Lake Ontario United mobile app

Gotta say, we did get a bird today, an Osceola, 11" beard, 1 1/2" and 1 3/8" spurs. Called in six toms today some jakes and a threesome of long beards. Birds were hot for a bit in am then we got some rain and they shut off got back on em after noon and got aggressive calling and they were hammering! Those were epic floods. Many pollutants were put into the watershed. I had a job on the river helping a survey crew plot the river bottom by the sewage treatment plant in Vestal this past year. Honestly I will never eat another fish out of that river. There is a section below the plant where they discharge that was totally void of all life. The black sludge with bits of TP smelled terrible and killed everything! I used to love to walleye and catfish there. Now, not so much! Sent from my C771 using Lake Ontario United mobile app

Launched at the south end, very shallow and no docks in yet. The owner showed up and said he should have them in next week. South end was muddy out to 45' we tried the mud line for a bit but temps were a high of 38 there. The temp on the surface for most of the lake was 35 degrees. Figured the fish would be in the deepest part of the lake with bait. Sure enough we hit 170' and there were Lakers scattered on the bottom and up to 120'. Sent down ff on rigger and a mag dipsy back 330', both took multiple fish in the 100-120' range. Ended up limiting on Lakers with one that topped ten lbs. I screwed up and tried to lift him in the boat with the 30lb cheater, lost a purple FLT alpha alewife and the fish !! He was the only fish we caught up high 50' and it was a tank! Also lost a really nice fish in shallow 40' on a seven color, so I'd say that area would be worth exploring too. Had picked up some fat heads and tried for walleye but they were no where to be found. Fun day on my favorite lake! Sent from my C771 using Lake Ontario United mobile app

That one the young lady is holding is an oldy but a goodie! We have a small group of guys that has been shed hunting for years. I'll pull some pics from them and post. My 14yr old dog 'Sheddy' I originally trained to pick up sheds but when she was two I introduced her to tracking downed deer. She goes with me still but could care less about a little bone, but she has found lots of dead ones! My best year was 24 sheds with her help. Sent from my C771 using Lake Ontario United mobile app

Ended up at Cayuga, slow day overall, two Lakers, one bow a few little salmon and a Brown. Guys out at Milliken and Taughannock out in the 38 degree water with waders, those boys are more diehard than me! Lake ended up being flat calm. Tried shallow and deep, water was crystal clear up around Sheldrake bit more stained toward the south. 38.7 surface temp. Sent from my C771 using Lake Ontario United mobile app
