I was out last weekend too no bait shallow, the shallowest bait I marked was 120'. I started deep and even out in 500' plus did not move any shallow rods ( ten color core and rigger w/ cheater parked from 50-80) funny how the temp on surface was 40 and that seems like a temp that fish would like.. The bait I marked around the salt plant out in 260 plus fow was crazy! May be the last time I get out this year! Happy New year guys! 40 degrees on top my next thing on wish list is down temp.. Fished middle of lake from hector falls North, picked three nice 2lb Lakers on ff fished deep! 150-175 out on my rigger. Ran back south and set up again just North of the salt plant, bait was filthy there and I got lucky enough to have this beautiful 26" land locked hit the ff. Called it a day before noon. Thanks Capt Vince, I am very proud of him! Frogger, Sand Hill has certainly seen a lot of boys turned into men! I truly have a much deeper pride for our military. My heart goes out to any families away from their soldiers this holiday season. Merry Christmas brothers! Sent from my C771 using Lake Ontario United mobile app

Hit the south end also today went 2 for three on Lakers, dropped one right behind boat. Bait was deep 260 fow to 475 around the salt plant and out in front of hector falls, beautiful calm day. Pics attached, favorite ff combo fished down 165 but with blow back probably got 130-140. Also hit a Laker on blue alpha alewife down 65. Note the fish in middle of screen down 200+ marked a few monsters! Sent from my C771 using Lake Ontario United mobile app

Ah reminds me of the story of the famous FA KA WE Indians... short little guys that ran around the high plains grasses and when they found a rock they would climb up and yell WHERE " THE FA KA WE" I am a descendent.... Nice bear Ray! Sent from my C771 using Lake Ontario United mobile app -

Les, very nice picture of a Fisher. For the past three years I have had a pair on my land in Danby, really cool to see, they put a serious hurt on the squirrel population. When I was a kid at a little league practice (1981) three of us saw what we thought was a black panther, it was about 100 yds away in an open field, no one believed us.... maybe it was a Fisher but still to this day I think it was a cougar.... also a good friend saw what he said was a mountain lion and this guy would never lie, he is a very good outdoorsman the kind of guy that didn't tell many people. Dunno, just plausible... Sent from my C771 using Lake Ontario United mobile app
